The quality is good for this price and it functions as advertised. The rotating hinge may hinder access to the focus mode selector in some Nikon DSLRs (e.g., D850 and D7500), so this could be an issue if you have thick fingers. The hinge on mine felt a bit loose, but that can easily be fixed.

Pretty nice Rig ... it will get the Job Done! A little more cumbersome than I would like for Mobility purposes, eg, wedding, Events, etc. ... too bulky, but not a bad setup maybe on a short shoot or stabilized on a tripod for portraits.

This came as part of a 'kit' with a Nikon D850. The bracket plate is too small for the camera! I also tried to fit a Nikon D300 and the bracket plate was too small for that camera as well. Keep away from this item if you have a full size DSLR.

Moving the flash off-axis with the lens is another way to stepup your photography. This bracket does an excellent job of doing that with most cameras with their flash units. I gave it a four rating because the backet feels a little unstable we]hen using high end flash units that are heavy using a flash light bender. The bottom line, it works and the price is right.

Overall a good bracket with the ability to change the angle of your camera. If you're shooting events, and want a slightly higher flash and the ability to change from landscape to portrait composition while keeping the flash up-right, this will do the trick. It's not a great balance in the hand. If you have a weak wrist, you may have difficulty using it. The bracket mount is too close to use a remote trigger system, so you will need a cable extender. Flashpoint makes one, but it has a plastic mount, and couldn't handle much strain when used with this device. I'd recommend getting some straps to manage the cable hot-shoe extender. I used it on a could events, found it was a bit bulky to handle. But I do use it on a tripod and the fast angle change is really handy and less cumbersome that hand held.

Great inexpensive tool. Maybe not for larger cameras. But will work with smaller and mid-sized DSLRs.

A great bracket and a clever improvement by adding the anti-twist plate. It really locked tight to the camera body and is ideal for a busy shooting schedule. Online ordering and shipping is always perfect. Five Stars!

Received it as a part of the kit - not recommend it because you have to reattach same thing else to hold external screen or cellphone like a screen, flush, microphone and wireless commander if you use one. The hole in the handle too close to the foam for attach for example flush or wireless commander. But if you do not need so advance setup - it well made.

Works great, you can also flip it to the side which is nice Con: It is heavy on the camera that is only reason I gave it four stars.

I bought to use with Olympus OMD 1 Mii and it is too large. I also think there should be a rubber pad on the base that is missing as the screw is to long to tighten into the camera.

Received the bracket, it’s looking great, but didn’t have a chance to try it yet. Overall I’m happy with it and looks like it will work just like described.

Not what I wanted. I wanted an ‘L’ bracket and was told this would do what an ‘L’ bracket could do, but it doesn’t. Since Adorama doesn’t pay for return shipping, even when they gave me bad information, I am stuck with it. Do you known anyone that needs this?

Does what it's suppose to do when you need it. Would not change a thing.

To begin with I really like this bracket. But there is some aftermarket engineering required to make this bracket work with a Nikon D750 and Nikon D5200. The screw on the camera plate is to long. So the screw bottoms out and the cameras do not tighten up to the plate. So my solution was to put two pieces of female Velcro on either side of the slots to act as a spacer. This worked great. Next: Put the flange of the camera plate behind the screen with the screen parked. The bracket will now prevent the the use of the flip screen. If you do not do this, the flange will press up against the screen and possibly damage it. Next watch the lateral placement of the bracket as not to block the battery compartment. If you put the bracket plate exactly where it should be it will block the battery compartment by millimeters and not allow the opening of the battery compartment. Shift the camera to the left slightly to access the battery compartment. For the Nikon D5200. Again the Velcro pads are necessary to be able to tighten the camera to the plate. Again put the flange of the plate behind the flip screen as not to damage the screen when the camera is tightened. Access to the battery compartment is accessible in the normal position of the camera on the plate. As a manufacturer it is impossible to try the bracket on every camera made, so sometimes some after market re-engineering is necessary. Other than my modification that had to be thought out and applied, this is a great product.

Well constructed. Only issue I have is when you're holding it and slightly move it side ways it go's to flip on you. Also if you have a flip up screen it's a little more difficult to to mount the camera. Otherwise a good product.

When all you have a is a speedlight and you need quick and flexible reaction for portraits, you need to get that light away form the lens and this is one approach that gives you that freedom of movement.

I purchased this bracket for use with a Nikon D850 that I had at the time. This bracket was way too small to "seat" the D850 on the camera plate. This bracket MAY work with a mirrorless camera, but it is not suitable for full size DSLRs.

Great bracket for the money

I purchased this bracket to shoot events. It's a solid piece and works exactly as described. I may replace the Philips head which tightens/loosens the folding joint, with a wing nut.
Not best quality but look the price tag!

It is a great tool to use if you don't need it constantly or don't expect it to last a lifetime. I bought it because I needed it something cheap to make it work with a specific event I had.
