good battery. bigger than original compact bats but not too huge. could be stronger, but thats what the $500 ones are for i guess.

The battery arrived with some smudge marks on it like it had been previously handled but my camera could care less. It's an Anton Bauer battery, industry standard, no problems. Charges on my old charger like a charm if you are worried about that at all.

Anton makes the best batteries around. I trust them in the field. But, I recently bought two new ones from Adorama, took longer than they should have to arrive AND both batteries had gone bad from sitting on the shelf too long :/ . Called and like anyone with good customer service i was issued a return doc. This was a bummer- as I really needed them for a shoot and I knew it would take way too long. Just for giggles I contacted Anton Bauer and WOW. Their customer service was impeccable. They were very apologetic and overnighted me two new batteries. Now THAT is a company that stands behind its products. Anton Bauer for Life!

I was hesitant to invest in Anton Bauer batteries, thinking there was a more economical solution out there. I realized quick they are industry standard for a reason. I bought this, along with the dual v-mount charger and both perform perfectly. I power both an Atomos Shogun Flame and video camera simultaneously, while counterweighting my rig. It really makes a difference with the record time on the Atomos, as the kit batteries were not reliable.
