The camera was well package and was in almost perfect condition. A little trouble shooting and I was able to get the camera fully operational. Great Bargain!

I was looking for a larger screen, so the XSI fit the bill. This was rated E- through Adorama, but I can't see any scratches or anything, so the camera was in good condition and works well.

If you dont need the video recorder of the newer models - this is a perfect camera for family needs. We paired it with the 18-135is lens and love the results! Fantastic combo!

Love it. It my first "serious" camera since I started getting "serious" into photography. I still have a lot to learn but I loved it so far and would definitively recommended to anyone else.

Excellent camera for entry level DSLR, using a EF-S 15-85mm lens, which gives you excellent resolution from 2 feet to about 200 feet. Keep extra batteries and chargers on hand. Use UV filter at all times. I leave mine in landscape mode for most shots except portraits. Not good for wildlife photo's unless you purchase a compatible telephoto lens for shots over 100 yards.

Can use all Canon EF lenses from EOS 5D Has dust cleaning feature at 20% the cost of a EOS 5D M2. With 1.6x factor makes my 300mm lens a 480mm. Light weight and compact vs EOS 5D/5D M2.

This is my first DSLR camera and I doubt it will be my last. It doesn't have have all the bells and whistles of some of the more expensive cameras but it does take great pictures and can be very veritile with a coupel of added lenses.

I first thought the autofocus feature didn't work very well with the Tamron 2.8 and Tokina 11-16 2.8 lenses I purchased for this camera. Finally, after a year of random focusing, then switching to manual focus, I read the manual! Setting the auto focus function so that it uses the center cross point corrected all of my troubles! For all of my lenses, the focus is fast and sure. The 2.8 lenses no longer hunt. The lens drive pins and locks super sharp. VERY happy now. Color is superb. Reds are not over cooked. Battery life is exceptional. I sometimes forget I need to charge it! Good software that and allows some tweaking in RAW mode. Still need to play around a bit with the depth of field view feature (switch) as I haven't found it very useful. Guess I'll read about that next!

The standard lighting on the flash is not powerful enough. I recommend purchasing an external flash for this camera if you're going to be doing outdoor photography. other than that it's a great camera.

After 2 years and thousands of photos I still love my STi as much as the day I bought it. I plan on buying another one, as most of the new Canon's come with Video and I'm strictly a still photographer.

I use this camera for portrait work in natural light, and I find the image quality to be great! Sometimes it gets "busy" when I am continuously shooting, but that's really the only problem I've had with it. I am very happy otherwise. I also like how light it is.

I'm very pleased with the performance of the camera and lens (Canon 18-135) combo I purchased. A few of features I've found particularly fun to play with are the burst action shooting (used this during skiing/boarding), multiple image shots with timer (so I don't have to get up and down to take several shots) and automatic bracketing.

this is a great first DSLR camera body. canon is my preferred brand and this body only increases my brand loyalty. i skipped the kit lens and opted for the 50mm f/1.8 which has suited my needs and my photography style very well.

I use the Canon XSi for varies events and am pleased with the quality of my photos. The only drawback is it is hard to see the images on the LCD on a sunny day.

Excellent, relatively compact and lightweight DSLR, consumer model so not especially robust but should last for years with reasonable care. Very easy to use with most buttons readly accessible. Picture quality with decent lens very good. Very good battery life even with using camera outdoors around freezing.

I am just a weekend photographer. I love my new xsi. It is used but it looks brand new. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another used product from adorama.

This is my first DSLR. Have had several film SLR's in the past and having been waiting for the prices to drop and the issues to be ironed out. In the meantime I've been using an Olympus compact point and shoot. So far I love the 450D/Rebel XSi. I've been using it for nearly 2 months with the EFS 18-135 IS lens and the images are turning out great. Fantastic image quality, of a weight that can be taken places (think travel), and quick to autofocus. I wouldn't recommend it for fast action shots with a frame rate of only 3.5FPS but for everything else its sweet. If you want a DSLR that you actually take places rather than leave at home, gives you excellent images at a reasonable price then the 450D is your camera. I'd only spend the extra money on the 500D/Rebel XTi if you care about movie mode and a slightly higher resolution. Otherwise save the cash and put the money towards another lens.

My first digital SLR. Had been watching them since the 10d came out and waiting for the prices to drop. Used three digital point and shoots in the meantime, including a canon S5. I could get some nice looking shots with those cameras but the SLR is in a different league. Use of interchangeable lenses dramatically increases low light capabilities and speed of taking and recording pictures when time counts. Of course the lenses can be expensive but you can start with one and add more later. The cost of this SLR is no more than the cost of many p&s's now. I found quality Tamron lenses to work as well on the camera as Canon's own lenses also. I have used the canon 50mm 1.4, 100mm 2.0, 70-200mm 4.0L, 20-35mm 2.8L, 28-135mm IS, and the tamron 28-75mm 2.8 I found the external battery pack to make the camera much more comfortable. My pinky finger didn't have a place to rest before it and now vertical pictures are much easier also. The extra battery can save you on a day of heavy picture taking such as sporting events. Resolution is high enough to allow a lot of cropping and included DPP software is pretty powerful.
