I bought this a couple days ago and set it up quickly. It was so easy with the ASUS Router app free from the app store. Just scan the qr code and the router connected and I was able to make any changes I wanted. I love the layout of the interface with most items correctly pre-selected but an advanced section to perform any needed changes. The app also has a bandwidth meter built in. This router is highly recommended as it is easy to set up and works flawlessly.

We were having trouble with WiFi connection in our home. Meshing this router with our other router (RT-AX 57) worked great. No interruptions in our WiFi.

We installed this is our house 2 weeks ago. AiMesh system, RT-AX3000 as the router and 4 RT-AX1800S extender to reach outside our house for the pool system. Each unit is less than 16 feet from the other unit and we havdly get 3 bars of WiFi when we need more to perform the pool functions.

Solid router. I have Cox internet service and replaced their provided modem/router with a mesh network, using this ASUS RT-AX1800S as the router. Easy to connect and internet speeds have increased. The difference is most noticeable when gaming online.

My son who works in IT recommended this router to us after our smart tv was losing wifi connection through our internet modem. This device now sends a strong, reliable signal to 2 smart phones, 4 wireless security cameras and 2 smart tv's flawlessly. An excellent economical purchase and I agree with my son that ASUS has quality hardware. We have had ASUS products in the past and will continue to use them.

I bought two of these routers specifically to setup an AiMesh system at our Homestead. So far the product has worked amazingly well. If you need a whole home mesh network I would look into buying a couple of these Also; I am writing the review for a 90 day warranty extension but I doubt I will need it.

I live in a two story house and the upstairs bedroom doesn't get good Wi-Fi signal. This product came in handy. The internet connects quickly and stays connected with no issues. It was simple to install as well.

The ASUS RT-AX1800S is a solid router for most household's needs. It is also very affordable, which is a great bonus! It offers both a 2.4ghz and a 5ghz bands, which is great for homes with a lot of smart devices (they tend to require the 2.4ghz band). The signal for that band is also pretty strong, able to hit areas throughout my house without much trouble. The 5ghz does well for streaming, as long as the router is near your device. I lose connectivity pretty quickly if I am on my back porch, or if I am in a room furthest away from my router. The signal is great in the same room as the router, but it's not as practical for my needs. It also includes 4 lan ports in the back - we have several PCs and a server in our room with the router, so being able to connect all of them directly into the router is great. The connection via the ports have worked well. Overall, I think this is a good router for the price and needs for most people. It is not the best for our specific household needs, but for the price and ease of use, it remains a solid option.

I've been using this for a few weeks now and I must say it's a great product. It was very easy to install and assemble. Very quick speeds for whatever you like to do such as play online games, iPad, etc. highly recommend.

I always struggle with finding the right router/modem for my house, I usually don't get a good connection in the back of the house. Luckily with this one I can now say that I can use my laptop and stream shows in the back of the house without any problems (house is one story and around 2100 sq ft.) Would definitely recommend give it a shot if you are having connectivity issues.

Has great coverage and range. We previously have had issues with drops in signal strength in the far corners of the house but have been able to eliminate those since installing this router. We are able to get a strong signal over the entire property, yard included.

We had thos set up in 5 minutes, it works great and our range is further than it was before. The speeds are a huge difference and we feel secure knowing it blocks threats. Overall it's a great router and we have definitely noticed a difference!

This is a top of the li e router for sure! My husband and I put ours in our first garage, which is between our house and second garage, and it gives us Wi-Fi in the house and third garage (studio)! There no lag at all either!

We have many stone walls in our house that had been causing disruption of wifi signal throughout. With this new router our signal is stronger and faster without having to pay the monthly "hardware fee" from our internet provider. Great cost savings and better connection

This is a speedy little guy. My internet in my home has been greatly improved and more effective. I run quicker speed tests in my back bedroom than I did before. Make my playing and work life so much easier.
