I love most everything about this digital piano!
Excellent digital piano for a small space in terms of sound, feel, design, quality, and price, plus a bench. I did notice that the keys are a little harder to push than those on an acoustic piano.
This is a superb piano
I play or have played at 4 different churches in my area community, and all four have either this piano or its predecessor, the YDP144. They are great pianos to play, with superb sound quality. My experiences with this piano made it a no-brainer decision to purchase the YDP145 to replace my personal 32-year-old Yamaha YPP50 which was getting old and finicky. I also love the YDP145's organ sound, however I find that it sounds best if I play an octave lower than usual.

The YDP-145 also uses a newly developed tone escapement construction on the back of the cabinet that emanates sound from inside the piano, allowing you to experience the natural sound radiation and three-dimensional resonance like that of an acoustic piano.
In addition to its authentic grand piano sound, the YDP-145 features various other built-in instrument sounds, for a total of 10 Voices-including electric piano, organ, vibraphone, and strings. It also has 353 built-in songs, including 50 famous classical songs, and 303 comprehensive practice exercises from famous methods, such as Beyer, Burgmuller, Czerny, and Hanon.
The instrument is compatible with Yamaha's free Smart Pianist app, which allows you to easily operate the various Voice functions of the instrument and use it to call up scores of the built-in songs. It also features a comprehensive Piano Room function for changing the tonal quality and resonance settings of the piano sound.
The YDP-145 is designed with your comfort in mind, employing new technology that corrects the sound balance optimally according to the volume you set. This ensures an exceptionally natural sound that's easy to listen to and is gentle on the ears, even when playing for a long time.
