After at least 6 years and 3 rooms, I am so glad that these are still available and supported for people entering the audio professions. I have them on stands with plenty of room to "breathe" and they impress me more each year. The best validation (besides the sound) is that I had a failure; yes, the power indicator would not illuminate but no big deal because I called JBL and they send a VERY reasonably priced replacement part from Texas, USA. JBL offers replacement parts instead of stiffing you to replace both of your monitors. Awesome neutral, non-fatiguing sound, exceptional support, good pricing... just buy them for your studio or home theater and enjoy life!

I am enjoying these monitors in my home studio. Originally purchased without the subwoofer (LSR310S), but added that and now is feels complete. Very happy with the quality and sound for my application. Crispy highs and great bass frequency response (more so with the addition of the LSR310S).

It is said that ?You are as good as the tools you work with? and I couldn?t be happier with these monitors. As a passion, I do remix work in my home studio and for the first time I am able to listen to my projects and hear amazing sounds I didn?t hear before. My work has improved so much more because of all the details these monitors provide.

I bought these a few weeks ago, and these have to be the best bang for the buck. The sound even across frequencies, bottom end is tight for a small near field, quiet operation, and light! I?m very satisfied, and would absolutely recommend!

I bought to produce my songs and I know I have a pair of the best monitors I could buy in its price range and even more expensive ones would not be as suitable for my needs (EDM/Urban. And yes, there is a hiss that is just normal for professional monitors and they are inaudible as soon as any audio signal comes from them.

The price was good on sale as much as the 305's. I like that the volume knob has the bumpy stages that way a pair can be accurately synchronized to the same volume. The highs and lows frequency adjustment switches are also a life saver since my room is not sound treated. They sound great honestly, they really shine when playing music but as a multimedia speaker for live tv they arent as good. I used them for my tv and everything sounds better but in movies dialogue is always much louder than any of the mids in the background. There are a few issues but not gamebreaking. 1. there is a hiss or fuzz thats audible when you get up close to them, this doesnt bother me b/c i sit far away (5-7ft). 2. There is no mesh screen for protection and that means you have to make your own. 3. The rear port looks really underdeveloped, what i mean is that the port is basically just a hole. When i shined a flashlight i could see everything on the inside. The tweeter is super exposed so if you have kids make sure they never get back there. Also the tweeter is not isolated from the bass in there so there could be distortions caused by strong bass. The tweeter also looks really simple from back there like it didnt cost much to make and install. Anyway im still very satisfied and love the jbl quality of being confident in turning up the volume without fearing of cracks n popples. I would recommend for their next iteration to add a second tweeter or a mid range tweeter. Make it a 3-way speaker to blow up all the mids to be as strong as the highs.
