This printer is what I've been looking for. I was looking for something with lower cost for ink. I printer a lot of pictures and colored graphs. I printed 40 pictures this weekend without barely any ink being used. The quality of the pictures were top notch as well even without photo paper. It is quick. Set up was easy and straightforward. I'm loving this printer so far.

The HP Smart Tank is a good quality printer. The device prints, copies, scans and faxes. The problem I have with the printer is poor instructions on how to use it. Setting up the printer was a bit frustrating as the directions are not very clear. I am a senior without much printing experience and I feel the directions are not as helpful as I would like. It is a good quality printer, but vague with the instructions.

HP smart tank 651 is the best printer that i have ever used. the print quality is great. the speed the output is very fast and i have had no problems with the printer. the ink reserve is very large and will save a lot of money on ink costs. i recommend this printer to everyone. I've used almost every other brand until I discovered this printer, and now I can't see myself using anything else. I even brought it to a friend's house to demonstrate how much they could save by switching to this printer. The colors are sharp, everything works flawlessly, and my expectations have risen significantly, I have no desire to go back to regular printers anymore.

The HP Smart Tank Plus 651 Wireless All-in-One, has been amazing. It was very to install, I absolutely love how easy it is to do wireless printing especially having documents on my phone seamlessly print on my printer. I do a lot of business printing primarily using black ink, I can say that this printer is fast, I have printed over 200 pages this week and looking at my ink levels you would think I have not used the printer yet. I've made some color copies and they look very good, in the past I've shied away from color printers because ink was so expensive. I am glad I was introduced to the HP Smart Tank 651. I also appreciate the scanner and I've been scanning a lot of documents and old photos, if you are in need a of new printer / scanner get this one you will not be disappointed. The HP Smart Tank 651 is very easy to set up, you will be be printing in no time.

I love the fact that printing is so easy and ink is so convenient , no more running to buy expensive cartridges after little use. Kids are super excited to be able to print in color too.

After using a few other printers I have find my day to day printer that is cost effective to use without breaking the bank. This printer has saved me from out sourcing my small batch print jobs because of its true vibrant colors needed. I believe because of the cost benefit and the beautiful color it produce I will be printing more than normal from home. I couldn't be happier using the HP Smart Tank 651.

Ideal for basic things like document printing but it surprised me with the efficency of printing photos (since I love sharing memories with friends) and the low cost of ink replacement as well. Definitely better than my inkjet printer I use now with less headaches

I love this smart tank printer! So much better than having to keep replacing ink cartridges for sure. The ink should last way longer than traditional cartridges. Great print quality. Fairly easy to set up, as long as you follow all the instructions, you can't go wrong. My daughter got this printer (HP Smart Tank 651) since our old one was getting pretty tough to get cartridges for. It was really easy to set up and connect once the updates were in., We've had the printer for about a week and it's been great to use. The only negative I can think of that it doesn't have duplexing whereas our old one could print on both sides automatically. But I do love having the smart tank.

This printer was incredibly easy to set up, but it kept encountering an error at first due to my desktop needing many updates. Hooking it up prompted the system to run updates. You cannot put too much paper in the loading tray as it will pull the full amount out and not print anything. The ink has not got clogged or ran out! I have printed so much with this and the quality is great! It's also fairly fast when printing and the clarity is excellent. I can easily print from my phone and other devices as well. It hasn't refilled the cartridges yet so it's still on the first fill. I'm excited to see how long this lasts and I know it's already cheaper than paying for cartridges every month. Other features include scanning and multi-page scanner which is an incredible asset for anyone who wants to digitize paperwork! There is manual duplex printing but that means you will have to print odd pages, then refeed those papers through to print the even pages which isn't a deal breaker for me.

I've been using the Smart Tank 651 for two weeks now, and overall, it's been a solid printer. The best thing about it is the refillable ink tank system, which was easy to fill and I've printed roughly 20 pages now-seriously, the ink levels barely budge. I'm so glad I decided to try this printer. Set up was super easy. I love the ink tank feature so you can see when it needs refilling. I also like that the colors can be filled individually and that you are provided with an abundance of ink. I have only used the printer twice so far but the quality of the picture that I printed was really good. I also love the ease at which I can send documents direct from my phone to the printer, this will save me trips to the local office supply store for printing special documents. I have already recommended this printer to my sister.

I was able to easily set up this printer using WIFI when I brought it home. I wanted to complete the initial set up and try it out at home before bringing it to my classroom. It was a smooth process with easy to follow instructions with great visuals. After the test print and printer heads were aligned properly, I went on to print numerous colored copies. The print quality and speed were great. After I was satisfied this HP Smart Tank 651 printer would work well in my classroom I brought it in. I would like to note that my school does not allow us to connect printers to the wifi, or install drivers to our work computers on our own, but this was still not an issue for this HP printer. I was able to use a usb cable to connect the printer to my work HP laptop and connect it using the HP Smart Program on my computer. This printer is by far my favorite printer I have used. I am able to make class sets of color copy worksheets within minutes. The scanner/copier feature comes in handy when I am short on textbooks and need a quick copy of the passages. This printer also prints double sided copies. The HP 31 and HP 32xl ink refill bottles are available to purchase in stock my local retailers, so I do not have to wait on a shipment of ink. Best of all, I can rest assured that I will not have to pay a fortune to refill the ink. This is a very cost effective printer for me as a teacher. Now I will be able to provide my students with vibrant handouts that spark their interests without having to sacrifice money for ink cartridges.

This HP Smart Tank 651 is exactly what I was looking for. The setup was relatively easy. The ink install was super easy. I already used the HP Smart app on my mobile device, so connecting to the printer through the app was a breeze. My previous printer was a regular inkjet printer, with single-use cartridges, and I would go through so much ink trying to print off pictures for different crafting projects. The amount of ink used to print off just one full sheet picture would have killed half of my cartridge. I don't even notice any ink lost from the Smart Tanks. I'm also impressed with the quality of the "cups" picture that I printed using regular paper. The colors are vibrant. The skyline picture was done on a special glossy paper that I use called waterslide paper, and the ink didn't smear during printing or after printing. I'm impressed with the quality. I'm super excited about this printer upgrade. I can't wait to see all the other things it will do. Plus, it is gonna save me a ton of money on ink. I will recommend this to all of my crafty friends.

We home-school our children and are constantly printing. This printer is just perfect. Its very quick for both color and BW. It makes copies and the ink seems to last for a very very long time, making it very cost effective and a perfect printer for a lot of use in BW and color. We have not had any problems at all with it and have used it quite a bit! So we highly recommend it!

I was pleased when the HP Smart Tank 651 arrived as my previous multifunction printer was nearing it's effective life, loved it for its features and low cost printing for the past 11+ years. The 651 was easy to unpack and get it up for running with detailed instructions for getting it started. The challenges began with the smart app. It wouldn't pick the wifi signal at my home office. Had to move to a room near to the router but again it would not pick the SSID and had to manually log to the network everytime the printer is restarted. Prints great with good colors though the color prints are awfully slower vis a vis black. Have been unable to install the scan driver inspite of multiple attempts. I guess will have to call the support desk to figure out the solution. Hope am able to fix it soon. Overall, a good budget option if looking for a smart tank but has rough edges to overcome.

So, I would like to start by pointing out that all I have owned for the better part of 15 years now has been HP printers. The Smart Tank 651 replaced my older OfficeJet Pro 8910 which is stsill on its last leg, so this review is basically putting the two side to side. When it comes to features, both printers are All-In-Ones capable of copy, scan, print, and fax. I wish that the Smart Tank printer had a color display like that 8910, but that is very small complaint. The size of the 561 is about a third of the size of the 8910, that isn't really a relevant thing to me either thougjh. Now the things that I do wish the Smart Tank had that my 8910 has is a bottom loading feed tray, I personally hate back loaded printers. I am on a break from school right now so I haven't done a lot of printing on it yet, but I do feel like it could be a little quicker compared to the age of my 8910 and the fact that it can print faster then the 561. I am curious to see how long this ink lasts in the tanks comapred to my ink cartridges in my OfficeJet Pro. I am also wondering about the cost of refil bottles, which I haven't looked into yet. My only other question I have is, are these printers eligible for InstantInk like my old one is? Does anyone know? Overall, I am excited about the new Smart Tank 561, I have been waiting for HP to jump on the bandwagon for a while and I am glad that they finally did! It will obviously need a little more use, which it will get in the next month after my classes start back up and I will update a new testimonial then. As of right now, the 561 is a good choice for a printer for someone who doesn't have high printing demands or for just a personal printer.

I then printed out one of my favorite recipes.The HP app is straight forward and easy to use as well.I appreciated being able to send a link to the other users in our home so they could get set up to print.They were impressed with how easy it was to install.The touchscreen has nice tactile and moves efficiently through the screen options.This printer overall is rather easy to unbox,set up and print. The one glaring drawback for us was that this does not have a built-in option for duplexing/double sided printing. We used double-sided printing for most of our documents on our old printer.It was a convenient feature and created less paper waste.I believe there is a way to do it manually for this printer,but it requires much more effort/steps which is a serious bummer.Too bad that was a feature not included on this model. If double-sided printing is very important to you, then you may want to look at a different HP model for that. Overall, a printer that is fast and easy to use with great printing quality.

Overall, I do like this printer. It prints quickly and with precision. I have some pros and cons I will list to make it easier: Pros: - Fast printing - Refillable ink cartridges - Somewhat easy to set up - Connected effortlessly to Wifi Cons: - The instructions could be a bit more clear. It would be helpful to know more details like that the ink bottles need to click into the spot before filling and that you are supposed to use all of each bottle. - Speaking of using all of each bottle, filling them got a bit messy because there is just a little too much ink in the refill and if you put all of it, it overfills. But it also seems like too much to waste so I suppose I'll save them and top them off with use. - When the cartridges are moving throughout the printer, whether during printing or while updating the firmware, they're very creaky and loud like the machine needs some WD40 - There is also a light beeping sound when the printer is idle. That gets a little annoying. - You can only put about 50 pieces of paper in the printer at a time, so you have to refill it often for regular use. Most printers take at least half a ream. - No double sided printing capability. Overall, I think this is a great printer, more to see with regular use. I would recommend it.

I got my new printer and got it set up with no problems. Had a little problem with ink but didn't read the instruction just looked at pictures the finely figured out that I didn't have flip top bottles and got ink in. Did the alignment page and was ready to print. Had no problem printing. This is an easy printer to get set up and then get it tied to your computer for printing. I still need to set it up to print from my phone and tablet but that should be easy to do. Just have to reread instructions. It's a great printer so far.
