very functional piece of kit!
I can't imagine my S1R without this battery grip! Functional in that it adds extended shooting time to the camera, but , in it's own right is also very "Beautiful"!!!!!! The design guys at Panasonic out did themselves in designing this camera and the battery grip. It will be attached to my camera permanently!!! I love the feel, the balance, the great ergonomics that the grip adds to the camera.

This battery grip is very well built and it has most of the important camera controls such as the twin dials, joystick, and the af-on button. It integrates into the camera without having to remove the battery door. Just remove the rubber flap on the bottom of the camera and the protective cap from the grip.
