Sigma hit it out of the park with this lens. Not only is it extremely sharp from center out to the edges of the image at 1.4 it's also AF extremely well on my 5D4. Weight of the lens is not for the weak.. it's 42oz exactly w/ the hood mounted. However most of the weight is in the rear of the lens so it feels really balanced on my 5D4. The AF is snappier than the previous model and the bokeh has a beautiful look to it. CA is still present but it's very well controlled and doesn't destroy ...

The best lens ever made for portraits
No, honestly. I'm not exaggerating. I've been shooting professionally for 10 years now and I've used all sorts of lenses. I'll go ahead and say this is the best lens ever made for portrait photography. Nothing comes close as far as sharpness. A 50mm has too much distortion and a 135mm has too much compression.
