I wanted to work with a fisheye lens to see what photos I could come up with. After watching a few youtube videos and reading some reviews I decided to purchase the Rokinon 7.5 manual lens. For the price I did not expect top quality. But, after getting the lens and trying it out, I was surprised by the quality photos it produced. Sure, you have the extortion at the edges, but the middle is pretty good. Overall, for the money I am very happy with this small lens. The only thing better would be that it was a auto lens.

Built like a tank. Great image quality. Very rugged I took a spill while trying astro photos Camera fell in front of me and me on top. Pushed the lens into the dirt but it only had one small scratch which doesnt seem to affect its image quality Next morning there was a lens print where it made contact. Great astro images, New Mexico clear skys no moon. Next night with moon still great. Very flare resistant. I found if you pay attention to holding the camera plumb and horizon in the middle of the frame it almost does not look fisheye. Most photos were in canyons or had mountains all around. Don't go west without this inexpensive quality lens.

I bought this lens trying to get a wide angle lens for my BMPCC. Since the crop ratio of my camera is 2.8, this 7.5 mm lens becomes a 21 mm. It came well packaged thru mail. It fits perfectly on my camera, the finishing is ok but it not as "fluid" as my Olympus lens. But its not a deal breaker. I had to invent a way to fix an ND variable filter in front of this lens since it does not support any. It shows a little bit on the corners, but nothing you can't reframe in post. Good lens. I give it 4 from 5 stars, just for the fact it doesnt have a filter mount.

It takes a while to get used to it, but it is really sharp lens. It is solid built and also quite small. No options for filters, but I don't see that as a big issue.

The title says it, mostly. Well-made, but no connection to camera for settings. Great chance to re-learn the basics of f-stop, ISO, and shutter speed. Photos look great.

Using this lens on my GH4. This is a great wide angle for the money. The build quality is solid as well. Buy it!

Nothing like a fisheye to get your creative juices flowing! Put in on your camera and take a walk. Don't take any other lenses; that would compromise your goal -- looking for good fisheye photos. You'll come back with some you'll toss, but some that are keepers, and they'll show you a view that simply wasn't previously possible.
