I can’t praise the build quality of the lens enough, it feels as solid as it performs! The OIS is the frosting on the cake, very reliable. I highly recommend it for anyone on the fence about purchasing it, you won’t be disappointed.

This was a great package, amazing lens + some great Peak Design accessories. The lens is amazing and highly versatile. Obviously it’s a fantastic option for landscape photographers. But I’ve been using it in the streets, with great results.

So far I have been impressed with this lens. I would go as far as to say it is a great first lens for many types of photographers. It would force you to get closer to subjects than in you had a telephoto lens, encouraging you to experiment more with perspective. It is my second fuji lens. 16-80mm was my first. I like the addition of the 10-15mm focal length in this lens although there are times when I miss being able to so quickly go from wide to telephoto as with the 16-80mm. Time will tell, but I feel the 10-24mm is clearer in the edges and seems to focus better. I compare these 2 lenses because they are both f4 1:4 lenses. I love the size and internal zoom of the 10-24mm.

Great lens for landscape and architecture, but can also work for street if you're willing to get close in. 1 star removed for lack of weather resistance.

Great lens! I tried using other good quality lenses (prime wide angles). They were all fine. But this Fujinon 10-24mm just outshone (out shined ???) them all. Tack sharp, not too heavy, fast auto focus. Used for event photography and Astro photography. Lens handles / functions very well in both scenarios. Highly recommend this rig!!!

This is a fantastic lens with an extremely wide angle. It also has a very nice soft bokeh for beautiful portrait or landscape photography. Still getting used to the lens and it's uses, but for the moment I'm really in love with it.

I am by nature a wide-angle kinda guy, so when Fuji made this superwide zoom available I bought it a couple of years back. It certainly does the job, and while it's not the smallest lens in the line it is easy to carry with me most of the time. The ability to use filters is also appreciated - not so much for CPLs as polarizing becomes an iffy subject with ultra wide angle lenses, but for the use of ND filters to enable slower-than-otherwise-possible shutter speeds it is invaluable.

This lens does not disappoint. It’s perfect for landscapes as well as architecture. It’s solid and well made. I’ve even used it for street shots. It works well with both the X-T3 and the X-H1.

I bought several lenses for my new Fuji kit, and this was the last one I chose. I was torn between the 10-24 and several other options. I wasn't impressed by the f4 aperture and the absence of weather resistance, but I went ahead and got this one for its utility. But to my surprise, the lens that I expected to like the least is the one that I can't seem to get off my camera. The utility is great, even better than anticipated, and the sharpness and rendering are above expectations. Image quality is excellent. I would prefer that it have a traditional aperture ring with stops labeled and notched, but performance is more than acceptable.

Great lens on my nice compact Fuji X-T20. So much easier than lugging my big DSLR around. The optical image stabilization makes it seem a lot wider aperture than f/4 because it works great in low light without kicking the ISO up too much. Not a horrible amount of distortion compared to some of the other lenses I had been using.

Sharp, focuses quickly, and balances well on my XT-2. With focal length from very wide to moderately wide (almost normal), it is likely to be my most often used lens. The camera, kit lens and this lens fit perfectly in my favorite Domke bag with extra batteries, filters, and even a speedlight. Photography is fun again, much like the film days when equipment was smaller, lighter, and as versatile as you needed. Glad I added this lens (and, no, it is not a "lense").

I just purchased the Fujifilm X-T3 and wanted a wide angle lens for landscape and travel. This lens is sharp, has a solid feel, and provides the focal perspectives needed. This is an amazing lens that is clear from corner to corner with vivid color.

I bought this back in 2014, when I first bought the Fujifilm X-E2 for a 2-week travel. I found it extremely useful when shooting in tight narrow streets in Florence, inside old churches in Amsterdam, wide marketplace in Brussels and whenever I needed wider than 18mm. I had to learn how to shoot at very wide 10mm to get realistic building perspectives. Indoors, I was pleased with its very low distortion: straight lines looked straight. I consider this lens essential when I travel.

I started with an X-E3 with 18-55. I wanted a wider-angled lens to add to my already lighter weighted combo. On a trip to Spain, the 10-24 came in handy. By no means am I a pro, and this trip was simply for pleasure. We visited the small country town of Talamantes west of Zaragoza. It’s not on the top 100 places to visit in Spain, but it has a history as far back as 1117. It is surrounded by lots of hills, mountains, valleys, terraced vineyards, acres of olive and almond trees, a medieval castle atop a high hill, and plenty of old timey architecture that reminded me of WW2 movie sets. This little town’s tight narrow steep streets would not have allowed opening the doors on my pickup truck, let alone even make a turn at any corner. Front doors of all those houses were just inches away from the street’s edge. I figured that the 18-55 would not have been wide enough to fit the street and as much of the building walls into my compositions. The Fuji 10-24 was a very good lens choice for photographing more than just partial walls and the street itself. Mostly handheld, the 10-24 performed very well at both ends of the focal scale and at F4. It focused fast enough, and its aperture ring is smooth with good audible and feely clicks. Along with the X-E3 and 18-55, its compact size fit easily into my PacSafe hip/fanny pack. No back pack needed. I am glad that I chose this cool lens.

I bought the 18-55mm thinking it would be the most versatile, but I hardly use the 18-55 now that I have this very sharp, 10-24mm lens.

I travel to Brussels and Brugges Belgium for 3 days from the US and ONLY brought this new lens. First time really using it. It did not disappoint. Well built (as all Fuji lenses) and handles all kinds of light. Low or high ISO make little difference. Coupled to my XT-2 a perfect travel high end combo.

I have not had the lens long enough to put it through trials of critical wide angle photography. I did use it on a cruise through inland passages in Alaska and the resolution is superb. Even extreme cropping shows crisp detail and I was not shooting raw images. I am comparing this lens to my film camera Nikkor prime lenses vintage 1970/1980. The Fuji is heavy but it fills a nice gap alongside my 18-135 zoom. I was also a bit gun-shy about using it in Alaska mist because it is not weather sealed like the 18-135 lens.

This is a sharp zoom lens that takes beautiful images. It is my go-to lens for landscapes and I regularly carry it as my single lens as the 24mm lens is good for street-type photography, group pics, etc. That being said, I wish it was f2.8 and I wish it have manual aperture and focus rings. But I wouldn't trade for anything. Love this lens!

I purchased this lens with the intention of using it 90% outdoors, so in decent light. My experience so far with it has far exceeded my expectations. I shot landscapes and vast scenic areas with the greatest of ease. It delivered sharpness across the entire frame and beautiful sun stars to boot. Even indoors I've found it afforded me a lot of latitude regarding lower light as it's built in OIS is remarkable at keeping your hands steady and not forcing too low a shutter speed. On an X-T2 it's a walk in the park. Highly recommended

The other reviews here are spot-on. This is a superb lens with great sharpness and a lot of flexibility for architecture, landscape and even city shots. Build quality is top-notch and it's very well corrected. The OIS is phenomenal -- the best I have ever seen. Though f/4.0 isn't ideal for artistic compositions, the OIS very much makes this lens usable in low-light conditions. Most of the time any edge blur/smearing seems to come from DOF effects rather than the optics (as this is so wide). Slightly softer at 24mm than 10mm but it's great to have that flexibility. As much as I like the other XF lenses sometimes *this one* is the only way to get a particular shot -- and it's 100% worth having it in your bag for those moments. Despite not "officially" being WR, I've used this in heavy waterfall spray and other questionable places and never had a problem. Absolute workhorse of a lens. IMHO the best ultra wide-angle available for the X system currently. There are some Flickr groups for this lens, lots of good sample shots there.

If you are a landscape shooter, this is your lens. Sharp, sturdy and with the addition of weather sealing and OIS, it can handle the elements. I use the battery grip if I handhold this because to me it does make my X-T1 feel awkward without it. Mostly I use this on a tripod. I originally rented one to test out on a trip to Yosemite. I was trying to figure out if I wanted a good wide prime or a wide zoom. Honestly, my style I prefer the option to zoom in and out and frame my scene. But I was worried that I would sacrifice image quality going with the zoom. After I saw the results, I put it on my must own list and never thought twice about it. If you need something fast and wide for astrophotography or night shots, go with the Rokinon 12mm 2.0. Ignore negative reviews by people who don't understand the purpose of this lens or how to use their system properly. Check the quality for yourself with a rental first and visit https://www.flickr.com/groups/fujinon_xf10-24mm/ to see how other photographers are using this.

Superb travel lens

Waited a long time for this lens to come out and I am not disappointed. It covers the perfect range for landscape use (for me at least), offers excellent optical quality, and is built very well. The constant aperture is a plus and at F4.0 is fast enough for most applications. The lens feels very solid and is of the same quality as the rest of the line. I'm still using the X-E1 and the focus is very good in all but very dim settings. There is hunts some, but that's to be expected on the older ...

Learn about the FUJI X-F 10-24MM (15-36MM) F/4 OIS
Built to work with the ever-popular Fujifilm X series cameras, this FUJI X-F 10-24MM F/4 OIS may appear to just be a wide-angle lens on the surface. Sure, it’s got the goods where it counts, including a 35mm-equivalent focal length range of 15-36mm when used with Fujifilm APS-C sized mirrorless digital cameras. But at Adorama, we like to think of it as something more than just a wide-angle lens. It’s a lens that captures a lot of any single moment, including both literally (it is a wide-angle lens, after all) and technically (we’ll explain why later on). It’s built to handle beautiful images and won’t be bound by the restraints of narrow-viewed lenses. In essence, this Fuji X-F 10-24mm wide-angle lens is a window into the photographer’s soul. Sound like a bit much? Here’s why we’re so crazy about it:
Wide-angle shooting should be versatile as well as unique: with the consistency of the FUJI X-F 10-24MM F/4 OIS’ aperture and specs, you won’t have to worry. The lens, almost by itself, will take those shots with precision.
From the Manufacturer
The FUJINON XF10-24mm F4 R OIS ultra wide to standard focal length capabilities make it the perfect choice for shooting dynamic images with excellent detail from the foreground to the background. The maximum F4.0 aperture is available throughout the 2.4x zoom range from the lens' ultra-wide 15mm focal length to its longest at 36mm.
With a powerful Optical Image Stabilization system, the ability to work handheld when shooting in low light is boosted. It offers high-speed AF thanks to an enhanced internal focusing system, and the use of a stepper motor has ensured that the XF10-24mm is very quiet in use. Its minimum working distance of 28cm allows you can capture both the small foreground detail and the wider surroundings to give your subject greater context.
