My goal was to find a keyboard with an acoustic accompaniment feature. After doing some research on-line, I settled on the YPT-270. Best decision I ever made! The sound is great, it is lightweight and easy to carry around. I started lessons and my teachers said it was a great buy. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was the owner's manual. I found it about clear as mud. I think Yamaha should have a video giving you step-by-step directions on how to maneuver through the features. I tried YouTube but not much help. I am currently looking for a teacher who is familiar with the YPT-270 and can walk me through the learning process. I do admit, I'm 70 years old and things don't come easily anymore. But I'm very happy I chose this model to get started. I would highly recommend this keyboard.
