So these are the best headphones, I have ever owned. However, I have bought 2 pair and they have both snapped on the right ear cuff. They seem to do it right at the 2year mark. I tried calling to get it repaired, apparently the don't make replacement parts. I still recommend these headphones, but if your an introvert who uses there headphones almost daily to avoid people ?? you'll be buying them every 2 years.

I'm sick of these. Don't try to pair any new device ms because it takes about 10 years and multiple tries. Trying to skip a song, rewind, or pause. Don't even try, it won't work. That is unless your shoulder happens to brush it, then it does every single action. Do yourself a favor and buy bose.

So my husband loves these headphones for the noise cancellation and the sound quality, unfortunately we've had issues with these lasting?. First pair we had to send in on warranty because the headband part came detached from the ear piece (which seems like a common issue after I started looking into it) now the replacement pair won't charge after 14 months of use?. For this price I'd expect they last for YEARS

This device has too many features that get in the way of using it, and it has no instruction manual (using WORDS) to explain how to use it. If you spend a lot of time you can download all sorts of videos and apps (that want to update themselves first), and ultimately you can find a 151 page pdf instruction manual you can download. Yeah. That many pages to tell me how to turn on and use a pair of headphones. Ridiculous.

I honestly had high expectations for this product and was amazed to discover they were far exceeded in every respect. The materials, construction, and finish are some of the best I've seen. The sound is clean and clear, and it's highly customizable via the app on your phone or with your favorite equalizer. They're extremely comfortable.

I do not use Bluetooth and I bought this to use with my portable CD player, HOWEVER... The unit must be turned OFF in order to play my CDs. Thus I can not use the NOISE Cancelling feature AT ALL. Is there some way around this problem, if not , i will likely return the unit to the store.

I bought this to use with my phone and a new Bluetooth capable record player I got. I have never heard my records in such good sound quality before. The noise cancellation is also genuinely amazing, I could not hear anything around me when my music was playing. I felt I got a lot of value for how much it cost as well.

After 3 years, the microphone no longer works during calls and I frequently have to fix a high pitched ringing issue. I have followed all fix solutions provided by sony and nothing is a permanent fix. For the price point, the product is not worth it.

When it worked, it was amazing. And then it didn't. I bought this around Feb/March of 2025 and within two charges I could no longer charge the headphones. I contacted support and was on the phone for hours last month and they told me that my proof of purchase was invalid despite it being an Amazon receipt.

I received these headphones on December 5th two weeks ago today they stopped holding a charge. They turn red and blink or sometimes stay red for hours and never turn blue i don't know what I'm supposed to do I feel like I wasted my money

Thoroughly researched before purchase and very happy to report the WH-1000XM4 headphones have exceeded my highest expectations. I have impaired hearing and continue to wear my hearing aids beneath my Sony headset with no discomfort and very clear sound, even on my frequent long train journeys.

I bought these headphones 2 months ago. They are great for cancelling noise. When I put them on, I barely hear anything. The only problem is that I always instantly get a headache when I put them on. That's why, even though I bought them 2 months ago, I barely wore them. I think it is linked to the noise cancelling because when I put them on, I hear a white noise.

The product had several issues when I connected it to my smart monitor. As soon as I connected the headset to my Smart Monitor, it started making a flickering noise, and then the headset powered off. After a few attempts, I couldn't get it to stay on-it kept shutting down automatically. I had to power it off and on multiple times just to get it to work. Clearly, there was a bug, which led me to return the product and purchase from another brand.

I used the headphones for a couple of days and faced a few issues that prevented me from using them conveniently, so I am returning them. First, the positives: - The sound quality is good (not outstanding but on par with competitors). - They are comfortable, though a bit tight - you can get a headache after using them for a couple of hours. - The mobile app has a pretty good design and is easy to use. So, in general, if not for the issues I describe below, this would be a really good product that I would like to continue using. Now, the negatives: - Bluetooth connectivity is not stable - sometimes the headphones disconnect from source devices (they can also randomly disconnect and reconnect). This happened to me several times a day, which has never occurred with other ANC headphones I have used over the last eight years. - Sometimes the headphones just turn off on their own (Automatic Power Off is disabled). - Latency - most of the time it is okay, and you will not really notice it, but occasionally it spikes to nearly 2 seconds, which makes the headphones basically unusable, especially for watching videos. It seems to fix itself by turning the headphones off and on again, but such a user experience is really inconvenient. - (The biggest issue) Pitch drift, which happened several times - at some point, the headphones start lowering the pitch of the audio (everything sounds a couple of steps lower, as if a pitch shifter effect is applied in real time). This also seems to fix after turning the headphones off and on (just reconnecting to the source device doesn't help), but I personally find this completely unacceptable. I did some research online before returning the headphones, hoping there might be ways to fix these issues, but unfortunately that's not the case. Other people complain about similar problems, and there is no workaround except turning them off and on or resetting them. It is quite sad, because as I mentioned, I would like to keep using them, but these issues are a clear deal-breaker for me. PS I believe the hardware is probably solid, but the buggy software/firmware makes the headphones perform very poorly (I was using the latest available version, 2.9.0).
