Another dimension of control

I purchased this (highly specialized) polarizer for the Nikon 200-400mm f/4 lens. While I found it important to pay close attention to the instructions for removing the standard drop-in filter and installing this, I am so pleased with the results and ease of use that I now leave the polarizer in place and treat is as simply one more of the numerous useful controls that are part of this lens. Not inexpensive, but I've found it to be a worthwhile investment given the results in my photographs

It' a polarizer...

Effective at reducing glare, especially when shooting around marine backgrounds. Color saturation improved significantly.
