Got this camera to give me an option to try out some film work. Its as much camera as I'll ever need for the film side. Great value if you want a sturdy film camera.

The Nikon F100 is the Photographer's Paintbrush that captures the beauty of the world that surrounds us! Nikon engineering will be forever at it's best and to this we give our Photographic thanks... Thank's Nikon for being there!

The F100, for me, is the best Nikon film camera ever. The F100 does everything you ask of it and besides it just "feels" great in your hands. I researched long and hard before purchase and I'm glad I selected the F100. You cannot go wrong. And, of course, Adorama is one of the few really trusted dealers for me. I just wish they were local so I could browse in person!

bought this used but looks and performs brand new. highly recommend for beginning/intermediate photographer looking to shoot film. fast focus, durable body, good looks, weather seal, and performs perfectly. uses 4AA batteries.
With innovative built-in Nikon F System technology more sophisticated than ever, the F100 makes precise, responsive Dynamic Autofocus so fast that images literally pop into focus. The camera also works perfectly with every AF Nikkor lens, AF-S Nikkor, AI Nikkor and more.
The F100 features Nikon's 3D Matrix Meter, for exposure control that has been developed through over a generation of innovation. There's Spot and Center-Weighted Metering, too. And Nikon's Automatic Balanced Fill-Flash System is uncanny at showing up that touch of extra light for more perfect exposures and cover page pictures.
For extra dependability, the chassis, top, bottom and front covers, and selected parts are constructed of rugged magnesium alloy metal.
By expanding your choices and meeting your need for a smaller, lighter camera, all without sacrificing ruggedness, the F100 joins the Nikon F5 as a camera of choice among the world's best. In short, it's one tough camera destined to take whatever kinds of the world's greatest pictures you want to take. That makes it truly worthy of the name Nikon F100 - Professional.
