as previously stated, I too am having problems with the grills falling off. They do know these are outdoor speakers and sometimes the temperature outside gets over 80 degrees right? other than that the speakers sound great and installation was straight foreword.

While the sound is good from these speakers, the fact that the grill covers are coming off in the summer heat is unacceptable. Poor design. There should be tabs that snap the grills covers into the speaker versus cheap glue that cannot withstand 85 degree heat.

Good quality and very affordable. To install it on the wall, you will need a electrical wall mount plate like the ones used in flood lights. The rest comes with the product.

They sound great, but could use some bass enhancements. Had to do some bass/treble adjustments to get rid of tin box sound. After doing so they now sound better.

I purchased two sets and use all four speakers in my barn. They are hooked up to a Yamaha Tuner/Amp and it is a nice system. They will not give you the "surround sound" that some people are looking for, but they are noiseless and sturdy. The sound is better than expected, but you can easily overdrive the bass to cracking.

I mounted these under my porch at my shop. They were easy to mount and sound good. I have an old 70's high powered receiver with a pair of big Sansui's inside. These speakers fill in good for getting sound to my back yard without rattling the neighbors windows with the Sansui's.

I purchased these outdoor speakers & was pleasantly surprised. The only thing was that the grills are coming off & the installation was a little difficult because their for out door no for indoor use. The brackets that where provided are more for indoor use. Had to go purchase additional hardware at a local hardware store.

As mentioned by others, the grilles on these speakers fall off. This is a royal pain in the neck because one of the grilles blew away and I'm having a difficult time finding replacement grille! Shoddy craftsmanship on the part of Yamaha!

My husband made wood mounts to attach the speakers to. Since they are heavy he didn't trust the mounts that came with them. He mounted them from our deck ceiling and the wall. They are several feet apart, so we get suround sound. They are great!

As stated above, the grilles will not stay intact and I'm looking for Yamaha to come up with a proper rubber cement or adhesive to hold the grilles in place. Other than this obvious flaw, the speakers work great.

Purchased these for a retail environment. Yamaha speakers offer the natural sound we are looking for, meaning they are not overly harsh on highs, mids or lows, for background music they sound great and don't get in the way of talking to customers, when turned up the bass comes through and sound great! I have these same speakers at home and they are great cranked up. We are using a Onkyo stereo receiver to power these

I used these as the two rear speakers on an aftermarket radio installation in a classic car. They are sitting on the floor in the rear, which allowed me to not have to cut any holes to mount rear speakers. There were aftermarket kick panels with 6 1/2" coaxial speakers available for the front speakers and these were also used. These Yamaha speakers in the rear provide much superior bass, while the front speakers provide a higher treble level. I found the speakers to be a great compliment in this system, and would rate the sound quality of the audio system up there with high end "component" factory systems, while the radio and all four speakers cost less than $200.

I've owned these speakers for about 2 weeks, and have probably used them half-a-dozen times. I replaced an old set of Boston Acoustic speakers with theses Yamaha's. The sound quality is better than the speakers they are replacing; and mounting them under the eaves as recommended does seem to make a difference in the bass output (due to house roofline one got mounted near eaves, the other didn't). While I would recommend them to friends, I have two gripes: 1) the grille of one of the speakers has already fallen off and appears to only be held on by a couple of dabs of glue. While this obviously doesn't effect performance, I am disappointed that I am going to have to make a cosmetic repair on what are essential brand new speakers. 2) the speakers only can rotate in one direction depending on the mounting. Mine are mounted with the greater dimension being the width, so therefore they can swivel left or right, but not up and down. In my application (on an elevated deck), it would be nice to have both fields of movement, but for the price it's hard to complain.

We set up a pair of these for our outdoor patio area. Fantastic pricing for a fairly well built speaker. Handles more than power and can crank up fairly loud outdoors if needed. Bass is ok, not heavy but sufficant. going to buy 2 more sets for our new outdoor home theater system

When I started looking for outdoor speakers, I listened to several different brands, and for my money, I found the Yamaha NS-AW350 to be the best bang for the buck. When I saw Adorama's price on these speakers, I bought two pair, giving me three pair now. I love them.
