Perfect condition, beautiful camera. The variety of shooting you can do with this is astounding. Not really bummed about the lack of ND filters either, truly. It's a great purchase.

The BPCC 6k Pro is a fun camera. I have only been using it for a couple weeks but it is easy to use and produces a great video. So far I've been very happy with it. I bought it with the additional battery foot, be aware that you will need to buy two batteries to put inside of the addition, the camera only comes with one battery. The three batteries together provide a very decent battery life, maybe a couple hours. I also bought a secondary battery but haven't used it as much. The camera is a bit heavy but if you update the firmware you can have access to the gimbal file which can stabilize the footage a bit in post. Or you can put it on a tripod or gimbal etc.

Looks great, bought it for curiosity on color science. Staying true to hear-says. I know there's no perfect camera but you still need to modify the base.

KIT BYERS, BEWARE!!! Devil in the Details! The kit includes the 4k/ 6k cage, not the 6k G2 cage. Be prepared to call and have to explain the difference, and all you will get is a return label and more work!!!! Is it a deal if you have to spend more time working and waiting? I won't look at deals here anymore.

Nice image, great menu system. Low-light performance, battery life, and overall ergonomics are not great. But if you put mechanical issues aside, you won't get a better image for the money. These cameras have a special look.

The Black Magic Pocket 6k Pro camera is a game-changer in the world of cinematography and video production. This camera is an upgrade from the previous model, and it comes with several new features that make it stand out from the rest. One of the most notable benefits of this camera is its internal ND filters. The camera comes with a built-in 2, 4, and 6-stop ND filter that can be easily activated with the push of a button. This feature eliminates the need to carry external filters, making it easier for filmmakers to shoot in bright sunlight or other harsh lighting conditions. One of the most impressive benefits of this camera is the beautiful 6K footage it produces. The camera is capable of capturing 6K footage at up to 50 frames per second, which results in incredibly sharp and detailed images. The camera also features a Super 35 sensor, which provides a cinematic look and feel to the footage. This is a must have camera for any videographer!

It handles much more comfortably than many reviews I previously read led me to believe. This is, above all else, a fun camera to shoot on with the pull-out display and ND filters making a massive difference in its handheld capability. Like all Blackmagic cameras, it has stunning color options at an amazing price point.

Internal ND filters? Check. BRAW? Check. Easy-to-use interface? Check. This camera is awesome. We have three of them for interviews and they make life easy in post-production. The dual XLR inputs are awesome for round table discussions and the fact you can shoot directly to SSDs or CFAST is fantastic. If you don't mind not having continuous autofocus, this is a no-brainer.

With it's large sensor and EF lens format, this is hands down the best value in video production. The only gripe would be a lack of image stabilization and just how big the body is - it was larger than I was expecting!

Went from a 5D Mark IV to the Blackmagic Pocket 6K Pro and love it. I love the fact that the menus are specifically for video and I am not overwhlemed with an endless menu structure. Love the big flip out screen. A bit heavier than I thought, but the heft does make it smoother in the hand with moves. Crop factor needs to be considered since I was spoiled with the full frame sensor in the 5D. I picked up the 8mm Sigma fisheye so that ought to do the trick on wide shots! And the 70-200 with a 2x convertor shoots pretty amazing close ups from a distance with the addtional crop factor. All the connectors are exactly what I need and love recording ProRes or RAW right to a Samsung T5. Not much I don?t like so far!

I?ve been using it for about 9 months. It took a while to get the presets right for the various places that I use it for streaming and recording to get the kind of video I want to capture. It has become my workhorse. This is a great camera!

Having a long list of EF lenses this camera was a great go-2 for me. I used this as a b-cam to my Red Raven and it fit the bill perfectly. You have to edit the Braw in Davinci so keep that n mind if you decide to purchase.

This camera is incredible for the price. It took a little learning as I'm used to Canon cinema cameras, but it's so intuitive it only took a few hours before I had it down. It's very customizable and has every spec I need for any project. And that's just the camera. The small rig is a HUGE bonus. It's convenient and modular, it comes with magnetic slots for Allen keys so you can adjust parts from the field, and it protects the camera from a fair amount of damage. The small rig will continue to prove useful as I purchase more parts. If you're on the fence: get this camera.

Switched to black magic 6kpro about a year ago and bought a second one from adorama. Hands-down the best budget cinema camera ever made. If you?re looking to get away from a DSLR and open up your ability to edit and have the space color correct then this is what you need.

Enjoying this camera a lot, especially the ease of use in the menu and the shift over to DaVinci Resolve. If you get this camera, just make sure you have a battery plan. I am using the Battery Pro Grip for one of them and then an external battery for the other. Without that you might have 20 minutes of battery before you have to change them. The picture quality and portability are wonderful

In a highly-anticipated live stream announcement, Blackmagic just revealed the successor to its popular Pocket Cinema Camera 4K: the new Pocket Cinema Camera 6K.
"The Blackmagic...Required
Incredible
By Caleb H.
I have only been able to test and play around with it for a few days, but wow. The things that this camera does are quite amazing especially at this price point. It does need to be rigged up in a cage, but all cinema cameras do so I can't really look at that as a valid concern. You will have to spend anywhere from $400 to possibly above $1500 to unlock the full potential of this camera. Obviously, the more money you spend rigging it, the better quality parts you will have (usually). Having do...

Full-featured work horse
By VINCENT P.
Incredible performance and features for the price. If you read other reviews, they will most likely comment on battery life – it’s true that the camera is a power hog, but not surprising considering how large and useful the monitor/menu is. Luckily, the easy to find and quick to charge LP-E6 batteries make distruption minimal. My one criticism is that the camera turns off (dead battery) well before the indicator suggests it would. It has done so several times around the 25% mark.
See what the next generation of pocket cameras would be like with the new Pocket Cinema Camera 6K from Blackmagic Design. It comes with an active Canon EF mount, making it compatible with various EF-Mount lenses in the market today. It also comes with a Super 35 HDR image sensor which allows this Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera to record 6K video at up to 50 fps or 6K (2.4:1) video at 60 fps. It features ISO support of up to 25,600, 13 stops of dynamic range, a 1920 x 1080 monitor output, and a 1920 x 1080 touchscreen 5" LCD. The Blackmagic 6K records using either 10-bit Apple ProRes in all formats up to 4K, or 12-bit Blackmagic RAW up to 6K. It comes with built-in Video Assist features, making it an all-in-one camera without needing additional equipment. Record seamless audio with its four built-in mics and a mini XLR input with phantom +48V power. The Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 6K is made from a lightweight and durable carbon fiber polycarbonate composite for recording anywhere while ensuring consistent functionality. What’s more, its compact build allows for more angle options for shooting footage.
Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera is better than a simple video camera because it has professional features allowing you to create the same "look" as Hollywood feature films. The combination of high dynamic range, great low light performance and Blackmagic RAW gives you feature film images with precise skin tones and gorgeous organic colors. You get advanced features such as 4K or 6K models, large 5" LCD for easy focus, SD card and CFast media, external USB‑C media disk recording, EF or MFT lens mounts and more! DaVinci Resolve Studio is also included for editing, color correction, audio post and VFX.
The elegant design of the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera packs an incredible number of high end digital film features into a miniaturized, handheld design. Made from lightweight carbon fiber polycarbonate composite, the camera features a multifunction handgrip with all controls for recording, ISO, WB and shutter angle right at your fingertips. Because it's an advanced digital film camera, the sensor is designed to reduce thermal noise allowing cleaner shadows and higher ISO. Plus the large 5 inch LCD makes it possible to get perfect focus at 4K and 6K resolutions. You also get a removable battery door, 4 shock proof microphones, heavy duty lens mount and built in speaker.
The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K features a native sensor resolution of 4096 x 2160, while the 6K model has a native resolution of 6144 x 3456. Whether you’re shooting in bright sunlight or in almost no light at all, both models feature 13 stops of dynamic range and dual native ISO up to 25,600 for stunning low noise images in all lighting conditions. Plus the 6K model's larger Super 35 sensor allows shooting with a shallow depth of field and anamorphic lenses. Both models let you shoot up to 60 fps in full resolution or 120 fps windowed. When you combine the sensor with the latest Blackmagic Generation 4 Color Science, you get the same imaging technology as our most expensive digital film cameras.
With 2 models, you can chose between EF or MFT lenses, making Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera compatible with the largest range and most popular lenses in the world. The 6K model features an EF lens mount so you can use lenses you already own from other cameras such as DSLR, URSA Mini Pro or even the original Blackmagic Cinema Camera! You can use commonly available photographic lenses that provide incredible creative choice and wonderful feature film quality lens effects. The active lens mount lets you adjust focus and iris from the buttons on the camera or the touch screen. For even greater flexibility, the MFT lens mount on the 4K model can be adapted to PL, C, EF or other lens types.
The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera features built in CFast and SD UHS‑II card recorders, and a USB‑C expansion port for recording direct to an external media disk. You can use regular SD cards for HD or higher performance UHS‑II and CFast cards for native 4K or 6K when using Blackmagic RAW. Imagine capturing over an hour of full resolution 6K images on a single 256GB SD UHS‑II card. The ProRes and Blackmagic RAW files work with all video software. You can even mount the media cards on your computer and start editing directly from them using the included DaVinci Resolve Studio software.
With professional, high fidelity audio recording built in you'll never have to carry around a separate sound recorder again. Both Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera models feature a mini XLR input with 48 volts of phantom power for connecting professional microphones such as lapel mics and booms. The four built in microphones have an extremely low noise floor and are shock and wind resistant, allowing you to capture great sound in any location. There’s also a 3.5mm audio input for connecting video camera style microphones, along with a built in speaker for playback and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
If you're positioning the camera on the end of a boom, or in another hard to reach location, you can get full control via Bluetooth from up to 30 feet away. You can download the Blackmagic Camera Control app for your iPad or use third party apps such as Bluetooth+ or tRigger on your iOS and Android devices. There’s even a free developer SDK with sample code available from the Blackmagic Design developer website, so you can create your own remote camera control and digital slate solutions. Imagine building an app that can jam sync timecode and trigger all cameras to record at the same time. The possibilities are endless.
