The Yamaha SR-B20A sound bar is a fantastic speaker. I plugged my 8" Velodyne into the sub out and it pairs nicely. For TV speakers it's more than enough. Even w/out the 8" sub it's good. How much air can you move with 3" speakers? It's good but better with a dedicated subwoofer.

This soundbar was crackling after a few weeks. Then, it totally fried the HDMI ARC input - zero sound. After many emails, the rep insisted that I try the soundbar with another tv - it fried that HDMI ARC too, requiring a total reboot of the tv and reinstallation of a hundred apps / channels. Eventually, the company agreed to send another unit. That was over a week ago - nothing has shipped and crickets from Yamaha.

Our 'living room' is rather small so the SR-B20A works great for quiet music in the evening.

I had never had a sound bar before because we had these old Klipsch speakers that still worked really great. I didn't really think there would be a huge difference but there was. Not only in sound but the amount of space we save. Delivers crisp sound and can just as loud. I like that you have the option to mount it or just have it on your entertainment system. It was also very easy to install.

I was so excited about this sound bar but unfortunately it is not compatible with any of our TVs because it requires a TV that has an optical out, which is a feature only on newer TVs.

Very impressed by this Yamaha SR-B20 Sound Bar with Built-in Subwoofers!!! The sound bar pairs easily with my phone, laptop, and TV through bluetooth & HDMI. I use it for various occasions from movie night, karaoke night or just daily music playing! I love how versatile it is and the different modes it come with work great for different use. Yamaha Sound Bar with built in Subwoofer I have been looking into getting a soundbar for my tv since its speakers weren't the best. I loved that this Yamaha sound bar came with a built in subwoofer with the option to connect an external one. Since we eventually wanted to get an external one. After listening to countless tv shows, movies, and music I am super impressed. The built in sub is actually a great amount that we probably won't even get an external one. I love the crisp sounds and the clear voices that this sound bar has. It was extremely easy to set up and get it up and running. It connected with my TV with no issues. I absolutely love the Bluetooth option and how easy/fast it connects to my phone. I also love how you can have two Bluetooth devices connected at a time. The difference settings really make a difference. The stereo option makes a huge different while listening to music. The standard option is what we use for everyday watching. It is just an all around great setting. The movie option sounds amazing too. I haven't tried out the game option yet since every game we play we use headphones. The remote is simple. Easy to use. It is hard to turn the volume up or down in a fast manor. You also don't know which level the subwoofer is on. You also don't know if clear voices is on/off or what sound option you are on. Which that one isn't such a big deal. There is an app for the sound bar that I end up using a lot. It is a little unreliable sometimes with connecting. The sound bar did not come with an HDMI cord. It came with a cord to connect to the tv but you still need a HDMI cord. It also came with a layout of the actual size of the sound bar. To use if you are going to mount it to a wall. Very handy and we will be mounting our eventually. It also came with foam pieces to attach to it so it doesn't vibrate on the way. Overall, this has turned our TV experience into something amazing. I enjoy our tv shows/movies/music so much more. I couldn't be happier with this sound bar.

When looking at sounds bars, too many stood too tall to fit under the tv. This one fits perfect. It's final spot is under my tv sitting above the fireplace. I use the Bluetooth connection from my phone just as much as I use watching TV! Clear sound and impressive sound for its size. A need if unhappy with tv sound which is almost any led tvs in my option. I received this for an honest review and I would buy if I needed another one.

I have a sound bar with satellite speakers and I can truly say this single sound bar gave a much better experience. I love how compact and easy this unit is to use and can't wait to get it set up with my new system.

I absolutely love this Yamaha SR B20 Bluetooth speaker with built in subwoofers. They arrived just in time when I purchased my new TV Samsung 65 inch and which have a low sound, so I am using this speakers for almost 3 weeks and I can confidently say that they are best quality speakers. They play so smooth and as much louder as you want and as much low volume as you want. They are very easy to connect and can be done within 2 minutes. They can connect to two devices at a time through Bluetooth and for TV you can use Optical, HDMI, or Bluetooth. They are having nice deep bass and sound is very clear. Also comes with a remote control so very easy to use. I will definitely buy it again for bedroom and other rooms. I already recommended it to my friends and family and I also recommend it to others.

This sound bar is an amazing edition to any home entertainment center. It looks sleek and classy. I love that you can mount it on the wall or just set it somewhere on your entertainment center. I was really impressed by how easy it was to set up. I'm not usually good at that kind of thing so I was worried I wouldn't be able to do it on my own. The directions were very straightforward and easy to follow so I got it set up quickly and nearly effortlessly. This sound bar with the built in subwoofers made my living room sound like a movie theater because of the 3D surround sound feature. The audio is clear and easy to understand no matter what your watching. I really love that its Bluetooth compatible so I can listen to music from my phone on the sound bar. The four different sound modes are an awesome feature to have. You can match the sound to the content that you're watching or listening to. I am genuinely impressed by this sound bar and all the features that it has. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality sound bar with high quality sound and an appearance that looks good with any entertainment center.

This is one of the best soundbars we've ever used, and we have tried a lot! We have a 24+ foot ceiling and the entire room is filled with sound, it sounds as though we are using high quality headphones, similar to how the Chillstep music sounds in airpods. You can tell that music comes through this sound bar the way the artists intended for it to be heard! Cannot tell you how impressed we are with this soundbar!

So this is my first sound bar and I love it. I've been using it without an added subwoofer and the bass is fairly strong for the size of the built in subs, just don't turn the bass all the way up during really "bassy" music or it will crackle a bit. The clear voice mode works really well but my favorite feature is the 3d surround mode. While playing first person video games it sounds like helicopters and planes are flying overhead, there will be little sounds in a movie that I never noticed before that sound like they're coming from outside. I have it connected to a 55" lg c1 oled tv which has pretty great sound on its own but with sound bar it really immerses you into whatever you're watching or playing.

I love this sound bar so much! I have had several different ones over the years & this one has been the best. It has a great sound quality too it & you can also adjust the subwoofers or use it without the subwoofers so I think that is really nice as well!

First the soundbar itself looks awesome. It's got a great modern look, but it's form definitely lends to so big functionality. My previous sound bar was more bulky and required a subwoofer hook up to get the bass needed. The Yamaha SR-B20's built in subwoofer is way better and gives depth to whatever you're listening too with 3D surround sound. I love that it performs like I have speakers all around without actually having speakers around my room. Even though 3D surround sound and bass are what I prefer, there's also lots of options to change to various other modes to fit what you may be listening too, like a clear voice option for podcasts. Overall the SR-B20 was incredibly easy to set up. It came with an optical cable and instructions to get set up. Setting up bluetooth was quick and easy. All around worth it if you're looking to upgrade your sound bar or you just appreciate a great audio experience!

This sound bar packs a punch! The quality of the highs and lows are amazing quality. I really feel like I'm at movies when this is on. The voices from the shows and movies can be heard clearly even with the bass turned up and subwoofer on. The built in subwoofer is also great if you're limited on space. Great value without compromising quality. Yamaha makes great products!
