Replaced a failing Visio system with this, and so glad I did. What a difference! Super easy to set up right out of the box with great controls to adjust to your preferred listening. The voice feature is just what I needed, now I can hear the dialogue and not just the background noises/music. Night mode? What great thought went not this. And remote speakers are Bluetooth s well as he bass module!

So, I've had this system for about a year now. I love the speakers. For the systems size and and all in one setup, its great. Good quality sound. That said, I've had to reach out twice now to support for software issues. Originally, the system would just mute itself and cut in and out. Tech support was helpful. Issue was fixed. Most recently, an awful, loud, high pitched static would cut in randomly while playing music. Awful. Tech support suggested a reset and as of now it hasn't done it again so maybe issue resolved. In both instances this has occurred while I've been listening via iphone/bluetooth/spotify. So the speakers sound great. I just wish they didn't come with software glitches. I also wish Polk would make a system like this that you could add more speakers onto.

I have to say Polk really made this purchase worth it! My first impression was wow the packaging almost looks too nice to unwrap. They very clearly focused on quality in every detail when designing this product. I used the surround system with my projector and it is flawless. The setup was as easy as it could possibly be. Specifically, I am reviewing the Polk Magnifi Max AX with (2) SR2 surround speakers. This system is advertised in different ways like 5.1 or 7.1. They both have the exact same sound bar and subwoofer. With the 5.1 the SR2 rear speakers can be bought separately and added at a later date. Just make sure you are getting the Magnifi Max AX model! I just bought a new 77 LG C3 television and decided against the LG sound bar system because the reviews were not great. The hook for me with this system was the clear voice technology that works pretty well and every other feature works exceptionally well and has exceeded my expectations by alot. Take your time and learn the remote like the back of your hand and you will thoroughly enjoy this system. Tip: Adjusting all the different sound modes are simple and only requires a quick press and RELEASE of each function button followed by the plus or minus button for Bass, surround, voice adjust, etc. The surround button has 2 adjustments with a balance adjustment requiring a little longer hold of the button before releasing. I use Xfinity Cable TV and have an iPhone 14 Promax as far as my input sources. I listen to Pandora and Sirius XM via Bluetooth from my iPhone and it is the cleanest, clearest and most enjoyable listening experience sound imaginable in the all stereo mode that you can't even put into words. This all stereo mode is great for sports as well and seems to separate the sounds between the announcer and the rest giving you a surround type feel making you feel like you are there. The Movie function is also to die for with Netflix movies and feel like you are at a movie theater. Before I purchased this system, I called the Polk customer service to ask about the wifi range for the rear speakers and they informed me that 15-foot max is recommended which almost deterred me from buying it but I took a chance. The 15 ft recommended range is totally incorrect because I have a distance of exactly 23.5 feet from the sound bar to the rear speakers and works flawlessly without any pops, crackles or any other interference whatsoever. This is a fantastic system in every way possible and Polk has done a remarkable job here. I have 2 suggestions to Polk audio: 1. Retest the wifi range and ADVERTISE it!! My room is only so long to test but my system is flawless at 23.5 ft. and please educate the customer service on the new recommended range. 2. I can live with the black rear speakers but the rest of my family can't and prefers white on the walls. ( as you can see from the pics I won that battle) It would be great if you could make just the REARS in white as an option. This system is a strong BUY IMO!!! Thanks for reading..

I bought this this unit a little over a year ago and can no longer get any sound from the system. I have tried all the trouble shooting advice I was able to find. The last thing on the list is to replace the mother board. I did not expect to be replacing a motherboard on a system priced as this is in such a short time. It is an expense I really don't want to handle. Not recommending to anyone. Buy a less expensive one and you can probably get two for the price of this one. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Save yourself from headache.

I bought the max ax with the sr2 it's a great system but it has all these streaming platforms, but I can't put a ethernet port into it for more stability.

Product looks very nice sound is okay My complaints are it doesn't have a pass through which means you always have to use the surround sound my other complaint remote is horrible it's not backlit you have to point it directly at the sensor, also takes a lot of time to change from HDMI 1 the HDMI 2 feels like forever before picture comes on, nighttime impossible to work the buttons on the remote in the dark I just expected more for a $900 soundbar, the Vizio that I had previously had pretty good sound for a quarter of the price and that one had passed through so at night you didn't have to use the surround sound and wake the whole house up, I do love the wireless surround sound speakers, the subwoofer it's very responsive and nice sound quality

Just what I was looking for. Bought this sound bar system for Father's Day. Tested the sound with some of my favorite bass-heavy songs and was delighted at the sound quality and richness. Subwoofer was able to shake the furniture. Different sound modes all worked well. TV never sounded better. Very pleased with the system, would recommend.

Awesome sound, now I cannot watch tv anymore without a sound bar! Super Easy to install and use. It turns on by itself when you turn on the tv on or if you use Alexa (if connected to it). If you don't like the setting used at the moment, then you can quickly change it on the remote and the digital display will turn on and tell you which one is on, same for the volume. Super cool that doesn't remain on so that it won't bother you while watching something on the tv. Only little down side is that the sound bar is really big, check the dimensions beforehand, also I would change the fabric cover to a more modern look, but I am really happy with it and glad I gave it a try!

Man this thing sounds great. The two surround sound speakers make watching movies a whole lot better. The best part about this how you can control the voice volume of what your watching, being able to hear what people are saying is great. Another pluses that the sub is awesome, the bass that this thing produces is (IMO) more than enough for any room.

Love speaker combo! I was impressed with the packaging. The set up was easy. The sound is phenomenal, and with that subwoofer, I feel like I'm at a movie theater! This is my 5th sound bar set up, this one is definitely a big step up from the Samsung and Vizio speakers I have on other TV's in my home. It was well worth the money I spent!

Bought direct from Polk website, shipping was fast just before the end of the year. Bought it to pair with Sony A80j 55" model TV in our great room. This soundbar was easy to set up, pairing of wireless subwoofer and satellites was instantaneous, absolutely no issues. Hook up via eArc also works perfectly. Voice is crystal clear, much better than previous Sony soundbar it replaces. Bass is deep, and being almost 60 years young I am not a fan in overly heavy bass - to me it seems just about right in a family/great room. Our space is about 18' x 30' and though the sound fills the entire room, it is most immersive in our immediate seating area of 18'x18'. At 55" our TV is relatively small for the space (by choice), but the sound feels well paired with screen size. When reading other reviews, especially on Amazon, of this system, I believe that many are for the previous version of the Magnifi, not the current AX model, look at review dates, the AX started to sell in the fall of 2022. For truly immersive viewing we have a high end Sony projector with a Yamaha Aventage receiver and a full speaker and subwoofers set (Polk Monitors) - obviously this soundbar does not rival that setup but it provides for a clean dialogue, deep base and nice surround effects at a pretty accessible price point.

The Magnifi Max AX SR was a perfect choice. I originally purchased a different brand, had some issues so I looked to Polk Audio. I am so happy I did. The sound is great, features for this are perfect, and it was overall a great choice. The sound is crisp, and the bass is crazy. Is shakes the house when you want it to. Overall I am so happy I chose this Magnifi Max AX SR to be in my home. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a soundbar system that is great for music, TV and video gaming. It doesn't disappoint at all.

I snagged this system on the Holiday special for $699. It's definitely worth that price tag for sure. I would not pay $899 for this system as TV/movies probably sound better with less tinniness on other systems. Music on the other hand is amazing on this thing. Heavy metal from Metallica and Ronnie James Dio sound great and heavy, 2Pac and Eminem sound excellent, even relaxing jazz music and classical sound exquisite. Overall good system so far.

It's a nice soundbar but I expected better sound for the price. The remote is easy to use, the speaker powers up like it's supposed to and quickly switches audio sources. Pairing was best I've used - very easy and user friendly.

Was looking for a sound system, saw that this system competes with the Sonos Arc set, and also saw Polk had a Christmas sale so I couldn't resist. Lossless Dolby Atmos music in Apple Music is sublime. Movie streaming is great even without Dolby Atmos. Looking forward to trying this out on LotR Extended Edition in UHD 4K once I get all the stuff I need! Customer service has been top notch as well!

Greetings: I at first chose a Signa -2, Then I noticed that Polk Audio dropped the price and also had a new price on the Maganifi Max AX SR also. I wanted a surround system. I've had a Bose system for years just could not resist the Polk Audio sound bar. A choice I am very happy to have made. My Signa -2 was on delivery, but I ordered the Maganifi Max AX SR as a replacement. Also I would love to mention Fed-Ex which was a day early on both deliveries and the return was also extremely easy , but alas I am now thinking of up grading my fairly new 65" Sony TV to either a Samsung or Sony 85" TV. Hey Polk Audio y'all have a discount coupon for either TV? LOL ??. not kidding?

Bought this a month ago and after setting it up it sounds horrible. I've had Polk in the past but this by far is their worst. Surround sound speakers pop and cut out. No difference when adjusting the height. It just lacks depth. Called in and customer service said since I threw the box away I can't do a refund nor will they service it because I voided the warranty since I threw away the box. That's ridiculous.
