Great lens for the price. The wide aperture is really handy and the controls are super smooth. The overall look and feel of this piece indicates that it is a great build. The videos that I've taken with it thus far have come out wonderful! I already had the Rokinon 85mm Cine lens prior to making this purchase. Now, I am definitely convinced to buy the 12mm and/or 14mm next. These Rokinon lenses are a great buy.

First, it's all manual... which is what I wanted but some should be aware before they buy. Image quality, sharp. DOF, very controllable with a smooth focusing adjustment. Perfect for video.

I love this lens. I use it on a Blackmagic Pocket camera.

Good lens for the price. I use it on my Panasonic GH5 and it works great. One complaint is if you have the transmission (T) set to 1.5 it is extremely hard to get perfect focus even if your camera is telling you that you are in focus.

Image quality is decent. A little big in size for m43 and awkward to handle for smaller m43 bodies.

Awesome lens for the money! I even use it adapted from nikon to the fuji GFX camera (medium format) and it performs really well for landscape and astrophotography work. It's a really sharp and reliable lens.

I am an amateur - now that this is out of the way: I am a musician/artist who with my bandmates is looking to make quality videos and shorts. We aren't kids and have a little money, so I purchased some Rokinons Cines to go with my T7. With practice I am getting better and to this point, the product is better than I am and produces output that to my artist eyes, looks quite impressive. I'm not into autofocus so becomming skilled with the manipulation of focus and aperature has been challenging and fun.

Still one of the best valued pieces of glass around. Really like the greener color as opposed to other lenses that error on the red/magenta. Great coatings too.

This lens is beautiful. The image produced with it is clear and sharp. The bokeh has a really nice quality to it. The only thing I wish Rokinon would do is produce a 28mm since that's a more usable focal length for my purposes.

Only giving it a 4 star since I've just purchased and only used in a limited capacity. I also own their 85mm lens and I've been extremely pleased with the results. Couldn't wait to add the 24 to my arsenal. So if the 24mm is anything like their 85mm, I'm thrilled! Love the ease of opening and closing the F-stop and the solid built of the lens. Beautiful imagery!

This is my first experience with Rokinon and I was pleasantly surprised. The lens feels solid. It's smooth, great in low light and much cheaper than it's Canon counterpart!

This lens is absolutely amazing. You would think with a crop factor of 2.0x+ for MFT cameras like the one I'm using (Panasonic GH4) that this lens would be tight and not really open and wide. Well scratch that thought cause this lens is absolutely amazing. Wonderful bokeh around 2.0f and about 2-4ft from the lens the DOF is shallow and awesome. Spectacular highlights and wonderful crisp blacks, this lens has just about the best picture on a 24mm for MFT. One thing however I wish, is that the lens' focus ring turned clockwise instead of counter. It's reversed where clockwise is for close and infinity focus is counter. Lil confusing at first but once you get used to it this works like a gem. The housing has a nice 'metallic' feel and constructions seems super durable. A lil' on the heavier side, I would DEF recommend this lens for 'cine' applications with mounting options. Rails, shoulder mount, etc. Good in low light too, but it really shines with a lot of light and the fstop around 2-3.2. Lots of exposure variables too because of the declicked aperture but be careful, make sure you remember which stop you are around, cause it's easy to move the ring and lose the stop if you're not paying attn.

The Rokinon 24mm T1.5 Cine Lens for Canon EF-Mount was developed primarily for film and video applications. The cine version of Rokinon's 24mm lens features industry-standard gearing for the focus and aperture ring and the aperture ring has been "declicked" for smooth iris pulls. The aperture and focus scales have also been relocated to the side of the lens, where it is easier for focus pullers to read them.
The Rokinon 24mm cine lens is compatible with full-frame sensors. APS-C sensors with a crop factor of 1.5 - 1.6 will exhibit a 35mm equivalent angle-of-view equal to approximately 38mm. The optical construction is comprised of 13 lenses arranged in 12 groups. Four lenses are low-dispersion glass (ED), plus two aspheric elements. The 24mm features Ultra Multi Coated (UMC) multi-coated lenses for improved light transmission and resistance to ghosting and flares.
