Still learning but love it. Wish it had another port for the electric guitar with separate port for mic. End up using a "Y" adapter to use both at same time. It is really very easy to use and my 11 year old daughter absolutely loves it. She's getting better with it every day. What a pleasure to use.

I consider the lack of Polish in the menu to be ignorance of our country and its citizens. I have a problem with its operation. This is not equipment for an amateur, but only for a professional who can devote a lot of time to it. A Polish menu would definitely make it easier.

The sound quality of the Genos is so much better than the Tyros models. I am gradually finding my way around the Keyboard. It is well worth buying.

Genos has great sound, quick and easy to control keyboard, wide range of capabilities. It has vastly improved my performance over the PSR S970. it could use at least one more audio input in addition to mic and aux. An external instrument input. It has two USB ports for external memory which is great, but it's hard to know which is which. Many of the features are poorly explained and particularly software upgrades and additional sounds and styles are not user friendly to install.

Hello, not a day goes by that I don't work on the keyboard. I am very enthusiastic about the easy handling and the fantastic sounds that the instrument offers me. I would be very happy if Yamaha would provide further updates for this instrument.

I would like to see implementing a screen driver to be able to use external touch screens ;) This will be great for Genos users, even if Genos 2 will have tilt screen ;) Style Creator more powerful, like velocity/transposition/cut/copy/delete for range of notes in channel. Design a new Guitar mode, more powerful, with possibility of hearing exactly the strings, not the key you press, or implementing in guitar mode keys that make strumming (up/down - fast/slow) ;)

Genos is an amazing arranger. I have been torn between this one and Korg Pa4x, and while the latter has a lot of great professional features, it is becoming a bit dated, and Genos wins in my use case - no traveling, no gigging, mostly studio use. And once you try Yamaha Cord Tracker app with Genos, you will see the incredible integration and seamless workflow Genos is famous for. A separate topic is the incredible service I got from Adorama when handling this order. I waited for over 3 weeks for this item to become "in stock". I've talked to customer service number of times, and they were always patient and diligently checked stock and updated me on the ETA for the stock to arrive. On July 24, I talked with them again, and the agent messaged the buyer in near real time to get the stock update. I then got an email from the agent that the buyer responded "we just received it and may be able to ship it out today". The item still showed "out of stock" on the web site. I placed the order right then and there and selected free expedited shipping. To my amazement, the item was shipped the same day in the evening, but to my complete awe, the arranger was delivered on July 26, less than 60 hours after I placed the order. I expected great service from Adorama, but this was above and beyond. If you are looking for a great arranger, get Genos. If you are looking for incredible customer service, look no further than Adorama. Special thanks to Kat and Bryan for their patience and quick responses!

Excellent arranger workstation keyboard I ever have played in my life. I have no cons about this keyboard apart from the ugly rear panel design. The unsafe screw bump is very difficult to handle and will cause problem on a constant usage. Yamaha must change the pricing strategy of Genos from Premium Pricing to Fair Pricing. One thing I can't keep to myself is about the Stunning Product Demos by Martin Harris a.k.a. Mr. Tyros. Please update the sequencer to atleast 24 Channel Midi + 4 Audio

Genos would be the best if it has a row of assignable buttons nearest to the keybed, at least 4 assignable outputs, and at least 8 user menu screens with the home menu switchable to 1 of those user screens. These features are essential. In other words, give us a Genos with a lot of user buttons and screens, and make MOST existing buttons and screens are assignable/customizable!

I really enjoy being able to download and play styles that mimic many favorite songs. That I can play as a one-man-band OR dial up/down the backing tracks depending on who is available to play along. I started with Roland Alpha Juno 2, and the JV880 (35 years ago) and then more recently a Yamaha Motif XF6 but then went for Korg Kronos (which has great action and Pianos built-in) but I find myself coming back to Yamaha for the ease-of-use, great realistic Guitar and Instrument sounds, and now a new fav - being able to play just about any request that comes my way - and all on-the-fly with a really big smile on my face. THANK YOU, YAMAHA - Genos is worth every penny!! :)

Genos is a new (not a next) generation. With many features mirrored from the Tyros line, new features expand the possibilities. Multiple USB memory ports give the player more options. Dials and sliders add new versatility while maintaining backward compatibility. Connectability and compatibility reflect upgraded electronic progress. Best of all, until the new features become ingrained, Genos can be identical to it's predecessors until new skills are learned. Availability has been limited and the touch screen can be a challenge that, with practice, will be overcome.

I already know Genos is going to be the best. I'm the keyboardist for the band The Flux Capacitors (facebook.com/fluxcapacitorsband). I have traditionally only used the higher-end PSR series (S950/S970) as my only on-stage board. They always sound amazing, and never let me or my audience down. But I'm obsessed with Genos. And will be picking one up as soon as they hit the market. I'm super excited! Thanks Yamaha!
