I bought this camera a month ago to shoot some pictures of friends and travels and the card door stops opening and the SD card is stuck in there. To make it better, the HDMI port isn't transferring the images from the camera to my computer.

what is good in kam? Is sharp? Is simple to be used? Is reliable? T2i is these things. For low price it take derrogoutypes which impress very much. Very simple very beautiful. Great kam, much better than filthy bolshevik Nikon.

I have been using the T2i for almost three years now & this camera has never let me down. This little gem has been reliable even in the heat & humidity of southwest Florida. It has been to the beaches on the gulf coast countless times & it has gone with me into the swamps a few times. For somebody just starting out, this is a great camera to learn on.I am looking to upgrade to a full frame camera soon (6d but this camera will come along in the camera bag as a backup until it can't take anymore pictures.Thank You Canon.

Wife bought this body with a 55-250 lens as a kit (not listed) to replace the DSLR I had. Got great shots while in Glacier Nat'l. park and Yellowstone Nat'l. park. With the long range I was able to capture waterfalls with slow shutter for "cotton candy" and faster speeds for "droplet" pics. Wife had a few blown up 20x30 to "hang around". Wish I had read more about this unit and I could have taken Movies. THAT would have been great when we came across a mama black bear and her cub, from long range of course!

i have used this camera for less than 2 years and since the beginning i was getting a "busy" message soon after taking a picture but it would go away in secs but now the "busy" message shows up whatever i turn ON the camera and i am not able to use the camera, everything becomes frozen...i bought a new memory card class 10, did not work, i bought a new battery, did not work either, this camera was the most expensive i ever had and i really was expecting it would last more than that..

Perfect starter for HD Video production- on par with more expensive models in the Canon line. I also used this camera in studio photography, and this camera produces some of the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen- excellent resolution!

I moved up from a Canon XTi with the Digi-2 processor. Nice camera. But the T2i with Digi-4 has all the speed and 18 MP resolution I need. And it is very reasonably priced. I have two of them now, one with a long lens, the other with my 17-50 Tamron zoom. My pics have been published and I even get paid for shooting now and then. Of course, don't expect a 7D (superfast continuous sport) or 5D (superb quality) with this camera, but for the money this is a great value. Use great lenses and you will very satisfied with image quality.

I was very happy with the T2i for my needs and price range. However, I was very disappointed with the 18-55MM lens that came with it. Therefore, I returned the T2i originally purchased and purchased a body only to buy the lens that I liked better (55MM-250MM).

With the introduction of the Canon T4i, the price drops for both the new and slightly used T2i cameras, making them that much better a buy for the would-be photographer. Also, since it supports both the Canon EF and EF-S lenses, it makes an excellent back-up for the serious shooter.

This is a great buy for the family. I have three sons who are 10, 11 and 12. They are all using the camera and enjoying it. We are using it for family retreats and events we want to have memories of, and we love it.

I received this camera body as a Christmas gift this past year and I haven't been able to put it down just yet. I've used it for basic photography and traveling. I highly recommend for those who love to work more than just the automatic feature.

The T2i powers up quickly and is essentially ready to acquire focus the instant you flip the power switch. Sensor cleaning has been relegated to shutdown instead of startup as the default, which makes more sense. Studio timings produced 0.02 second shutter lag times, and 0.18 seconds for AF acquisition. Shooting in the field, I felt using only the single center point for AF was slightly quicker than allowing the camera to use a number of points in auto AF. The center point is the only cross-type in the nine-point AF system, which may account for the perceived speed advantage.

This is my first Canon DSLR. I got it after shooting a Pentax K-x (my first DSLR) for about a year. The autofocus on the Canon is fast and accurate, noticeably a step up from the K-x, and I don't even have a USM lens. The Canon is also noticeably quieter than the Pentax, both shutter noise and autofocus (again, without USM). Menu navigation is not the best on the Canon. Getting to / adjusting some settings seems to take a step or two more than the Pentax. Navigating while viewing images on the Pentax is much easier and more intuitive than on the Canon. And deleting multiple images on the T2i is a smack-down comparatively. Shooting in manual mode on the T2i isn't that slick. It's far easier on the Pentax. I still can't find the flush-mount adjust button on the T2i to dial aperture and have to take my eye from the viewfinder. I had thought that the T2i would be my last camera body purchase for a long time, but this issue alone will eventually drive my to upgrade to a xxD. Those grumblings aside, I love my Canon T2i. Nevermind the great image quality, the snappy autofocus makes this camera a lot of fun.

Whether you're new to the world of DSLRs, or are a seasoned photographer who wants to try your luck at video, the Canon Rebel T2i is perfect. I've had nothing but great experiences with it so far, and highly recommend to everyone. The camera is very small and light. It is not weather-sealed or as durable as some of the more expensive SLRs, but it doesn't "feel cheap" in my opinion. It features a 3-inch LCD (compared to the Rebel XS's 2.5 inch screen), which also has a very high resolution. It looks lovely! Auto-focus is fast, and I've been very pleased with the quality of the pictures and videos I've taken so far.

This camera is my back up camera and I love it. Most people think you need a fancy camera to get wonderful shots. The glass behind your lense is way more important. For the price of this camera, you can afford a great lens to go along with it.

Only had this camera for a short time. Replaces an XTI. So far, test photos have shown great performance in low light. Bought from Adorama, which had the lowest price and received it in only two days (with free shipping).

This is one of Canon's best kept secrets. I had been wanting to upgrade from my 40D to something with more resolution capability but couldn't quite justify the expenditure required for one of the "high-end" powerhouses Canon offers. Through reading various reviews and my own internet research I came across this little beauty. In comparing specifications with the high end models I discovered that this "entry-level" (?) Rebel has about 90% of the capabillity and features of the upscale models at less than half the cost when purchasing the body only. When my daughter presented me with an Adorama gift certificate for Christmas this purchase was a no-brainer. The smaller size and lighter weight certainly don't compromise performance! The ease of handling and the results this llittle machine produces are truly amazing. I did purchase the Canon battery grip for extended shooting and was pleasantly surprised as to how it improved the feel of the camera. I've been using it for about a month and a half now in all kinds of situations and have no qualms about giving it a resounding two thumbs up! You've got to try one for yourself.
