Punches well above it’s price-point
Surprising how nice this lens is, especially given the price-point*. Yes its a value built lens but the fit and finish, and photographic results it is capable of belie that. Additionally it’s lightweight which is also a plus. Exhibits responsive focusing when mounted to my Olympus Pen EPL-8 and produces tack-sharp subjects with awesome bokeh backgrounds (and foregrounds). Great little tele lens!
I was not expecting 'great' from this inexpensive lens from Olympus. But I was pleasantly surprised! It's sharp and lightweight. The ability to manually override the focus is a plus for that exacting image. Highly recommended!
