These speakers are phenomenal. Tell me the Heiser crisp and clean the mids are smooth and warm and the lows are outstanding very little power needed to run them and get incredible sound from them but at a premium amplifier and it's like turbocharging and supercharging your Ferrari. They hang with speakers three times their price range. You can enjoy these things for hours with no fatigue.

OK, long story short. . . . Been through a few speakers over my lifetime from Polks, Definitive Tech, Thiel, SVS, and, thankfully, now this Klipsch. I'll spare all the audiophile hyperbole, but listening to great music and great audio gear has been a passion of mine for decades. Vinyl, CDs, streaming, etc from mostly jazz, contemporary instrumental, classical, some pop, rock, some hip hop. . . but mostly my tastes are accoustic Jazz trios, female voice, choral classical. I sent back my SVS ultras because they are coming out with new line of speakers and thought I'd wait for the latest and greatest. Found out, however, that SVS is no longer making speakers in the U.S. so went back to this Klipsch knowing they are made in U.S. All I can say, is run, don't walk. . . . this is in a whole other league than any speaker I have ever owned. They're not speakers - they're alive. In my opinion, however well intended, online reviews comparing this speaker to the SVS ultra is a complete miss. This speaker is in an entirely other league than the SVS ultras. When I mean NOT EVEN CLOSE - I mean, I honestly don't understand where certain reviewers were coming from. Having had both - SVS Ultras for about a month, and now this klipsch for a couple of hours, it is simply night and day. This speaker is so well balanced from top to bottom with dynamics to boot, but it can play the most delicate music with finesse and intimacy. In 35 years of buying speakers, I've never sat in front of a pair and had chills or border line tears with the sublimity these things play. They are absolutely effortless from hard driving Jazz like Mr. PC with John Coltrane, Gregory Porter "Free" . . . or Chamber music.

I've owned these speakers for about 2 years now. They are amazing! Paired with a JL audio eSub 112, they rock the house. My listening position is only about 12 feet from the speakers. I have blown away several guests with the amazing clarity at ridiculous volumes. I highly recommend them for anybody with enough room for them.

Purchased these from ListenUp to take over front channel duty from my RP-280f's. WOW! These are incredible. Every note is crisp and clear and the bass is tight thru out the entire volume range. I am pushing them with Emotiva DR3 / 450watts / channel and could not be happier with the output. I love how they match the rest of my RP series speakers. And the sale price of $1699 / ea is a steal (@ the time of writting this review). If you are 'on the fence' to buy these..don't delay, they are amazing.

Everything is great except the tiny little rubber feet included are kind of a joke for such a large speaker. Very disappointing for your flag ship speakers. And the input panel on the rear is the cheap looking plastic from lower quality line of speakers instead of the very quality set up from the Reference Premiere speakers. Very disappointing & just really don't see how you could put out a "flag ship" product with relatively cheap equipment from your lower lines of products.

Featuring an all-new titanium compression driver, 90x90 compressed molded-rubber Tractrix horn, redesigned bifurcated cabinet, cast basket Cerametallic woofers and finished in a premium, furniture-grade wood veneer - the RF-7 III floorstanding speaker champions our legendary, high-performance Klipsch sound.
90 Degree X 90 Degree Tractrix Horn
The redesigned Tractrix Horn utilizes a circular horn throat paired to a square horn mouth to further improve high-frequency response and extension while enhancing imaging and dynamics. The compressed molded rubber construction adds high-frequency damping to reduce harshness and improve detail. This creates the cleanest, most natural sound possible.
All-New Driving Force: 1 3/4" Titanium Diaphragm Compression Driver
The compression driver features a new phase plug design to improve phase coherency at the throat of the horn, resulting in improved sound pressure linearity at high frequencies.
Spun Copper Cerametallic Woofers
Cerametallic woofers represent the pinnacle of Klipsch driver design, maintaining exceptional rigidity, and lightweight construction, for minimal cone breakup and distortion. When paired with the Tractrix horn-loaded compression driver, it provides speaker efficiency highest in its class.
New Dual Chamber + Tractrix Port
The RF-7 III new bifurcated enclosure allows each 10" driver and port to work independently from the other. This improves the linearity of both drive systems, and minimizes standing wave problems inside the cabinet that can cause frequency anomalies in the sensitive midrange frequencies.
Utilizing Tractrix geometry, the new RF-7 III ports allow for the most efficient air transfer from the cabinet - for the cleanest, most powerful low frequency response on the market.
Cast Frame Woofer Design
Each 10" woofer feature a heavy-duty cast aluminum frame for resonant-free operation. In addition, each woofer incorporates a dual shorting-ring magnet structure design to eliminate modulation of the magnetic flux resulting in improved linearity of cone movement.
Furniture Grade Wood Veneers
The RF-7 III floorstanding speaker enclosures all utilize furniture grade wood veneers, and are available in Black Ash, Cherry & Walnut.
