The dji gps remote is awesome. It beats have to press the start button on the camera to record a video.

I just got the DJI action4 remote last week and it automatically updated but theres a fatal flaw! im standing within 10' of the camera and the remote constantly disconnects! I have missed out on some really good footage because of this. I hope an update comes out soon for this issue!

i really like this RC very much it is fast,and dependable good quality the only thing it lacks is the ability to download third party apps and the other issue i dibnt like was the ability to download maps without being connected to WIFI! But thanks to DJI 1.9 update on 12/10/2022 you can now download maps of your flying area and they will be there on screen without needing to download again!

I have been flying DJI drones for a long time having owned a P1, P2, P3, Mavic 2, Mavic 3, Mini, and Mini 2. I also hold a Part 107. I have also owned several other DJI products and accessories. I think that the RC Remote is one of the best accessories DJI has released for one of its products. It achieves a rare balance between function and price. The Sticks have a great feel, and the screen is plenty bright for the sunny south Florida climate that a I am flying in day to day. The range is more than enough for Line-of-Sight flight even in areas with lots of interference. The only negative is that you can't download 3rd party apps to the remote. This is a DJI software lock since the remote is running android. Something they could easily fix with a patch. Also, the remote does not have a HDMI out for a monitor. These missing functions aren?t worth the additional cost of the pro remote in my opinion.

No point in a comparison. This is the only controller that works for the Spark. But it IS made for it and works fine. And it is recommended over just trying to fly the Spark with gestures. It really is a requirement and makes flying the Spark much more fun and gives it many more capabilities.

As a beginning drone hobbyist, I started using my cellphone to control my DJI Spark. Then, I purchased the remote control unit and operating the Spark became even easier. I highly recommend any first time user of DJI drones to purchase a remote control unit. It makes the experience even more fun!!

Wouldn't own the Spark without the remote. Makes it a complete package. You also need to have a couple of extra batteries as well as the new portable DJI power bank for 2 batteries and the Spark at the same time. Good Luck it is now a good deal.

Flying the Spark with the just phone vs. flying with the remote is like night and day... it's SO much better!! The range is many times further (very easy to fly it further away than you can see, which is a little scary, haha!) and the ability to use Sport Mode is a ton of fun! Top speed jumps from about 6mph up to well over 30mph (I've hit 34.8mph and only had the remote a few weeks). It seems well made, it's battery lasts for a very long time before requiring a recharge (probably 10-15 flights), and the way it grips your phone seems quite secure. Definitely worth purchasing if you'd like to get the most out of your Spark, and turn it from a little backyard toy into a full-featured and awesome big boy drone!

This is the sentinal DJI controller. It's the best you can buy for you Phantom. Word of caution: make sure it is for your exact model! Phantom 4 and Phantom 4 Pro are different.

Better than the one I received from DJI the first time. Product works great and requires a charge as normal to get to 100%. The first time I received mine from DJI new with my drone, it was broken and the return and process a new one was over two months so I just ordered a new remote only. I have two now, but the process from Adorama was quick and easy shipping from NY to FL.

I love having the screen always there, no using my phone or tablet. I don't know all the functions yet but it was worth buying. I only wish DJI would include a manual with it.
