Purchased 2 to mount on rack of pickup for overland travel stowage. The tan color is preferred to reduce internal heat gain from the sun and does the job perfectly. Although not waterproof (disappointing) I chose these for their weight to volume ratio and tan color. Without the foam they are 14lbs ea which is half the weight (and cost) of the others. I do expect them to be reasonably dust proof as the water infiltration was from a pressurized car wash spray. I would buy these again unless total waterproofing is required.
