I?ve used this light to make up for some poor lighting in our church and I used it as a work light to light up the back of a rack so I could see what I was doing. I love this thing!

I returned this item because it's kind of bulky and heavy, lots of plastic. May not survive a drop. I didn't think it would get much use.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Super bright multi colored light for a fill with photos. The barn doors are super helpful as well. Battery life is not much with light all the way up but that's to be expected. The modes are fun as well. Comes with a nice case. No remote which I guess is the only downside.

The light is very bright and incredibly versatile, but it has a noticeable green cast when compared to my other Godox lights. I intended to use it as a hair light but it's far too heavy for a lightweight boom stand. I'll still find plenty of use for this tool but it isn't quite what I expected. I ended up buying a Nanlite Pavotube 6c to serve the purpose I originally bought the LC500R for. It's much lighter and easier to place in hard to get to places (and it's magnetic!). I'll likely buy the longer Pavotube to boom. You can't go wrong with either light but they serve different purposes for me.

I?m no lighting pro, but I do film a lot of shot film and I must say this light is very versatile! Very happy with my purchase and can?t recommend this one enough. Worth paying extra for the fx feature (police lights, color changing to music, lightning, etc)

It’s even better than I expected. Photographing weddings full time, I was looking for something light and portable that could be used in a variety of indoor and outdoor situations. This not only does what I need, it does so much more. I really never thought I’d use the remote but it’s become so incredibly handy I felt I had to write a review. I keep the light attached to a tripod and adjust as needed for each situation I’m shooting in. Fantastic lighting for details, the barn doors provide amazing control for portraits and a nice little kicker light for night shots.

Simple and fun to use. The case is compact and light weight making it easy to travel with. The remote works pretty well. I’ve used from about 15ft away without any issues. I’m just a hobbyist without a professional studio or any other special lighting. I attached some sample pictures using the light bar which I thought came out nicely!

Awesome light saber, but heavier than it looks. RGB colors are easy to control with remote control, not so easy on wand. Good as LED wand, but barn doors are annoying to use - they need to be rotated when you swap from color to white and v/v, and don't move smoothly.

This light is an amazing value. You can put it on a stand or set down in small cramped spaces. I use it a fill most of the time when I was to lighten the shadows. Plenty of settings and a fun light to use.

Very pricey but very bright. Tons of adjustments and settings..will take time to learn..seems to be built very solid and comes with a nice cary case for transport and storage
