Well built lens that fits snug onto the camera. Small footprint and very light. Can't go wrong with these prime, Fuji lenses.

This lens is fantastic! The 50-ish mm equivalent gives a very nice view of your compositions. The aperture ring is snappy, but not stiff, and adjusts on the fly when you need to. I couldn't ask for a better every day, walk around lens! Oh, and it's great for portraits, of course. :) Thanks, Adorama, for having this in stock and ready to ship.

Purchased this XF 35mm f/2 lens as my first lens to go with my Fuji X-H2S. I couldn't be happier with my choice. It really is an all-around great versatile lens. I have used it for landscape, portraits, and everything in between. It isn't really a macro lens, but the close ups are pretty good too. I use it as my travel lens to pack light, capture the moments quickly, family-photo-ready while also being capable for stopping around for intricate shoots. It's not a zoom lens, so expect to move your feet around to get the perfect shot. Great lens. And great value. Once again, Adorama was great with the service and delivery.

sharp, fast and a great little gem. I am not a fan of the tapered shape but that is just my personal preference, I have used it several times in the PNW rainforest during heavy rain and I have never had any problems. If you need weather sealing this is one of the best for your fuji system.

Versatile lens for everyday use and makes you want to go out and shoot. The greatest feature about this lens is that it small and light weight. While there are other lenses that can stop down to f1.4, and this lenses can only go to f2 which I thought was going to hurt lowlight, but the downsides to those lenses that can go to 1.4 is the additional weight in size. Overall since I prioritize weight when taking photos I would much rather have this lens than its counter part. The same can be said to the 23mm f2

Wonderful lens for the size and price. It fits very well on my xpro3, very much feels like it belongs and completes the rangefinder feel of small lenses. It also completes the weather sealing which gives a nice sense of security, although I'm not shooting in the rain often I keep this lens on and don't every worry about whether or not I should bring my camera somewhere. The autofocus is very fast and inaudible unless you are sitting in a dead silent room. I really love this lens a lot. The only reason I'm giving this lens 4 stars is because some of the optical qualities could be better. Sharpness is good but decreases significantly towards the edges. I'm rarely taking photos where I need the corners to be super sharp, but overall the whole picture could probably be sharper at f2. That and the bokeh could be a bit smoother. You'll get a good amount of blur at f2 but busy backgrounds with lots of contrast and highlights (like foliage) can start to look a little crazy. These issues only come up in a small number of the photos I take but I do notice them when they do. Otherwise this would be a 5 star product for me. The size and autofocus alone make this irreplaceable for me. I sometimes think about getting the new 33mm 1.4 simply for the thinner dof and better optics but the size makes me think twice. Even if I did ever upgrade I would definitely keep this lens and likely have it on for traveling light (I stuff my xpro3 with this lens in a fanny pack with an extra battery and filters and I am completely set). Would highly recommend, especially at the low introductory price it is.

Great little (and I do mean little!) lens for walk-around, general-purpose photography. Very light, well-built and packs a lot of advanced tech into the same size as a Summicron. Traditional 50mm FoV with the Fuji Crop sensor means you can use it for almost everything. Focus speeds are quick enough for most subjects, but far better on newer bodies (XT-3 and up) than older bodies. Colors are vivid, and F2 aperture is sufficient for low light, more so on the newer bodies with better high ISO performance than the older cameras. The short minimum focus distance is great for filling the frame with a face or subject and bokeh-fying the background. CA and flare are well-tempered. Where this lens falls apart is with Distortion. The lens itself is very, very sharp even wide open, but in order to correct the egregious barrel distortion of this lens, the Software Correction smears the corners like a baby eating porridge. You can remove the Lens correction in post-processing on RAW files, but if you are shooting anything with straight lines, such as a building or pattern, you will see the distortion. The distortion is a problem when shooting certain scenes, like cityscapes or flat subjects but really not a problem for people pictures, candid shots or anything where the background is far behind the subject. If you're shooting in bright light, you'll probably not need to use F2 and will stop down - bringing the background into focus, and revealing the distortion/software-corrected softness. All in all, I'd still recommend this lens because of how small, light, well-built and quick its. it's just not meant to be used in landscape/architecture/panorama/cityscape shots, but is a great lens for people pictures.

I had ordered one kit but evidently that was out of stock so Adorama substituted a different kit.
