I ordered the pocket wizard to canon camera cord to set up a remote camera at an ncaa basketball tournament. It works as designed. The connections are solid and the plugs connect well. This cord works with the Pocket Wizard Plus transceivers and connects to the Canon 5d mkii. I like Pocket Wizard and have used them since the late 1990s with off camera lights at weddings. My original set of Pocket Wizard transceiver and receiver are still working after all these years.

Pocket Wizard's website can guide you to the right cable for your camera, but to be clear this cable allows you to use a pocket wizard radio just like a cable remote. I am using the Plus II radios and the half shutter and motor drive work with this cable while also letting the camera go to sleep to save power and can be woke up with a half press. The picture in the description is off in that the stereo plug is not metal but the N3 Plug has the metal lock which is the most important part, anyone ever using an off brand cable will know how important it is to have this metal cap on the camera side.

I know that the description says that the old trigger cable will work however you won't have E-TTL functions but this is not true. I got the old cable from Adorama since this one was out of stock and the old cable will NOT trigger my 1D Mark III in any way shape or form. I am currently trying to see what it takes to return the old style cable to Adorama since it is useless with the TT5.

ACC Cables are a special kind of Pre-Trigger cable for use with the new FleXTT5 or the latest MultiMAX. Toggle Pre-Trigger on and off remotely with the MultiMAX. Required for remote camera triggering with a FleXTT5 if using E-TTL functions. NOTE: An older mono motor drive cable and/or pre-release cable can be used instead of an -ACC cable with a FleXTT5 but you will not have E-TTL capability.
This cable contains a pre-trigger connection. When a remote zone is enabled on a MultiMAX, the camera behaves as if the camera's shutter release button were held half-pressed continuously. This makes the camera respond more quickly and consistently, but also consumes the camera's batteries much more quickly. When the remote zone is disabled, the camera will enter its normal sleep modes
