I put a pair of these in my Sony A7R-V. To say they are fast is an understatement. I have yet to even see the "writing" indicator on the camera. It is almost as though the camera bypasses the buffer (I know it does not - but it feels that way) and goes straight to the card. Point is - no buffer-dump waits, even with bursts of 10-12 raw frames of 62MP each. With the right reader, reads fast into my PC and RAID array as well. I know these are expensive, and CF-B would have been cheaper (I dock a star for cost). But the ability to put two in the body and mirror both, instead of having one "fast" card and one "slow" card is a huge deal for those of us who always shoot a mirrored setup. (mirrored shooting means slowest card determines overall speed, effectively neutering the fast card - unless both cards are fast). And cramming two CF-B card slots into the small body would have been quite a trick. So I see the engineering compromise made. Still danged expensive though.

Works great with my a7r5. Super fast, takes real work to hit the camera's buffer. Well worth the cost for the speed with the big files of this camera. Will not go back to SD cards.

I ordered the two-pack and happened to get it at the right time for a great price. They're installed in a Sony a1 and have performed perfectly.

There aren't many options for Type A CFexpress cards. By which I mean there are two. As expensive as these are, those from Sony are even more so. But benchmarks show Prograde performs equally well, so it's the obvious choice.

What do I say about a memory card? It stores things...fast! Seems durable for what it is. Oh, it's cheaper than Sony's cards. Too soon to tell if it will last.

So far so good! Good quality build. It?s not like the SD card built of plastic. I use it on my Sony Alpha 1, I have not see any waiting for buffer to clear on high frame rate shots. When used it with the Sony SD USHII card, I need to wait for buffer to clear even with 10 frames per second. I rate Four and half star and highly recommend. Plus it?s 200 bucks(2packs)cheaper than the Sony Cfexpress type A.
