Lens is fine but if you intend using it with the sigma L mount adapter It's more like a 48mm lens, not 35mm on a S1H

This is my first experience with Cine Lens. I bought it to shoot interviews and to use with my Ronin-S on different video projects. It is good quality and for the price it is hard to beat.

OK for a beginner kit, but not for professional use. This lens is noticeably soft when shooting full-frame HD on an a7r II. Gearing is overly stiff and the bokeh leaves much to be desired. Better off spending a few k for a sharper prime.

While the Rokinon 35mm T1.5 Cine AS UMC Lens for Canon EF is primarily engineered for film and video applications, it also excels in a variety of photography settings. This high-quality lens is a cine version of Rokinon's 35mm lens, featuring industry-standard gearing for the focus and aperture ring. The aperture ring has been de-clicked for smooth iris pulls, enhancing the user's control over the depth of field and exposure.
The aperture and focus scales have been strategically relocated to the side of the lens, making it easier for focus pullers to read them, thereby improving the efficiency and accuracy of your shoots. This versatile lens is compatible with full-frame sensors, but it can also be used on APS-C-sized sensors, where the 35mm-equivalent focal length will be 56mm, offering a unique perspective and flexibility in framing.
The lens boasts an optical construction that incorporates two high refractive index elements and one aspherical element. This innovative design reduces chromatic aberrations and distortion, producing sharper, more detailed imagery. To further enhance image quality, a UMC coating has been applied to the lens elements. This coating minimizes lens flare and ghosting, resulting in more contrast-rich, vibrant images.
Whether you're a filmmaker, a photographer, or a videographer, the Rokinon 35mm T1.5 Cine AS UMC Lens for Canon EF from Adorama is a reliable, durable choice that delivers exceptional performance in any lighting condition.
