For the Price of the Product its a decent lens!

Decent lens for the price of the product. It is pretty heavy but durable. Everything is manual to adjust

Nice lens for testing the macro waters

I got this lens primarily to digitize 35mm slides, and it has worked well. The quality is similar to what I get with a vintage Nikkor 55mm macro lens coupled with an extender, so I probably could have stuck with the Nikkor. I'll try some standard outdoor macro photography next. Perhaps the only (minor) issue is that there is a slight grinding when extending the lens to full length.

Good for film digitizing (with one catch)

I purchased this lens for film digitizing work with my X-T2. The overall optics and build quality are pretty stunning for the price, and more than good enough for my purposes. That is to say, no one would mistake my scans for coming from a Zeiss macro lens on an a7Riii, but this easily yields comparable-to-better results vs my v550 flatbed with way less hassle which is all I'm really after. I could print a scan from my setup at 16x20 easy, with room to spare. The only thing to watch out for is that the lens creep on this thing is BAD. Even though it's been designed to extend only a smaller secondary barrel when focusing, when inverted my lens drops completely out of focus within *seconds*. But this is easily remedied via a stiff rubber band overlapping the focusing ring and camera body. Manage your expectations appropriately and think about your intended use, and this can be a great little money-saver.

Very happy.

I really like this lens. I?m using it on a Fuji XT4. So far I have only used it handheld. Very sharp photos. Easy to use. Smooth handling. Hood is a bit goofy but works very well. Solidly built. Extremely good value. Very happy.

Incredible - and not just “for the money”

I bought this lens specifically for taking close-up images of watch movements on my Fuji X-H1. I am blown away by its clarity, contrast and color rendition. I am so glad that I’d not paid 4X as much for the Fuji equivalent - I hardly mind focusing manually. This lens is also good with close-ups of flowers, of course - as well as a shorter telephoto lens, although in that case one sees conspicuous pincushion distortion along the long edges of the frame, plus some vignetting in the corners. But this is a “macro” lens, not a portrait lens.

Extremely sharp, great solid build and amazing value!

This is an amazing value even though it is a "DX" (for Nikon Z mount) lens. On the Z7 you still get 20MP in DX mode. In FX mode you will get vignetting, but even in this mode you can crop the photo afterwards and still get amazing results. The build quality is amazing, and I like the fact that it has the unusual long removable tube so you could easily stick the end of it in water if desired. It also negates the need for any type of protective filter if you leave the extended tube on the lens body. I'm having a blast with this lens, and can't find any fault with it at all. The lens is extremely sharp. Amazing value!

awesome for price BUT...

With this price its 100% worth it IF you have spacers when using the Nikon Z's as there is a lot of vignetting. once you put a spacer on it thats all it needs and the vignetting is no longer there you just can't use this lens for anything but macro on the Z lines Maybe the new z50s when they come out as they will not be FX I feel like this lens may be more for them at the moment... though the Z50's are not even out. HOWEVER, the build feels nice I do get a little drag that feels like it's coming from the bottom left of lense when focusing but due to the build quilty im not worried.

Surprising lens, fantastic value

Packaging and build quality are both surprisingly great. The smoothness/damping of the focus and aperture rings are very nice. This was my first purchase of any Chinese lens and I'll definitely consider more in the future. Image quality is fine, on an X-T3 I wouldn't say this lens ever gets truly pixel sharp, but it's certainly not soft, and the images have a very nice "soft focus" look wide open (if you're shooting into bright light or a high contrast subject).

Great inexpensive lens for copy work

I'm using this lens to copy film negatives and transparencies. I test4ed the lens last night, and the quality of the photo-copies is fantastic, much higher quality than scans from my high-end flatbed film scanner. The image quality with the X-T3 creates files that are about 16x20 at 300 dpi.

Interesting 60mm lens with comfortable macro focusing distance

I'm using this lens for 2 days only but had chance to take some photos that look good. The lens is nicely built - all metal construction. Optics is quite sharp and delivers pleasant colors. It has unusual feature of detachable metal tube at front (has no glass inside). 7Artisans 60mm F2.8 macro lens contains 8 elements in 7 groups. The floating system on the front glass can guarantee the excellent image quality at infinity and 1:1 macro condition. Even the macro scene is really small, you can also use a extension accessory to get a 2:1 to 3:1 macro image.
