Check the DJI Mini 2 official product site to verify device compability. Although it states that Android and Apple devices are compatible, only certain devices and OS versions are compatible. It seems like Apple devices (iOS 11.0 and above only) work best with the DJI fly app. I couldn't get my Samsung or Lenovo tablet to work, so I bought a used iPad Air 2. The DJI fly app works flawlessly with the iPad. Also, one of the three included batteries went dead on the first week. I opened a warranty case on the DJI site and they emailed me a prepaid return shipping label. After they inspected it, they sent me a new one within days. The Mini 2 is easy to fly. However, make sure you get a week or two of practice at low altitudes before sending it out across a bridge or lake. It does take some practice getting the hang of the flight controls and features. A fully charged battery will last about 25-30min and will decrease quickly under windy conditions. For this reason, I recommend this Fly More Combo. If you want a high-quality beginner drone that can capture good quality video/images, the Mini 2 is an excellent choice.

Very light and easy to carry. However due to its weight, it is not ideal to fly when there it is windy. Fantastic drone otherwise!

2022 Review: With the recent release of the Mini 3, I thought to make this review. I honestly think that you don't need the Mini 3 to get 4K Quality cinematic shots. There are features in the Mini 3 that is not included in the Mini 2, however, the price for the Mini 3 is a lot higher than when you buy a Mini 2. You can make great 4K Quality videos with the Mini 2 and overall it is a great drone for hobbyist, and casual content creators who just want to make videos for Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube. I love this drone and this is what I currently use.

The DJI Mini 2 Drone Fly More Combo is a great, affordable way to start learning to use a drone. The camera quality is excellent for the price as well. Adorama is the best place to buy it, because of all the freebies they include with it. Free micro SD card, free landing pad, free editing software! What more could you ask for? Also, I personally know people that use this same drone for real estate videos, so you know it's good quality!

Great little drone, a lot of fun to fly. As my first drone it has everything I need, however I am already looking at the DJI Mini 3. I'm 74 so this is just a hobby for me and the mini 2 fly more package was perfect. I'm sure after I've flown for a while and learn more about flying drones, I may want to try other drones, but the mini 2 meets all my needs. I live in North Pole Alaska, so the flying time is limited, and summers are busy, but the mini 2 is very stable and handles windy conditions well so I can fly when I have time without worrying about perfect flying conditions.

With the Adorama bundle I got the helipad and bag (which I made a custom foam insert for, and which is very sturdy and keeps the drone well protected) for the same price as the standard DJI Fly More combo. Awesome drone, very user friendly, just plug and play.

First and only drone. Ease of operation. Wish it had a couple more features like obstacle avoidance and some of the tracking features. But still a great drone that?s easy to use. Very please with camera quality and stability. For being a small drone and being sensitive to wind I have been very impressed with the stability in the wind.
