I bought this to connect my Flashpoint Zoom II AA TTL Speedlight (Fujifilm) to the Flashpoint Blast BP960 and it works flawlessly. I'm able to shoot bursts of 15 frames per second (1/32 power) without any noticeable dimming of the light.

This cable doesn't turn on the flash. I have a canon 600 rt ii. Also, I tried removing the cable from the flash, but it was hard to remove the cable.

Already had a couple Streaklight 360 kits so figured I'd give this a try with my Flashpoint Zoom for Nikon on camera flashes for run-and-gun. I have the version that uses 4 AA batteries and at half to full power, the recycle time is painfully slow. This adapter to the blastpack was the answer. I already use the 'Y' connector with the 360's for faster recycling, and that made the recycle time on the flash under a second at full power. No more missed shots.

It's not just for Canon. You use this cable with the Flashpoint Blast Power Pack (BP-960) to connect any Flashpoint Zoom TTL R2 AA battery-operated speedlight regardless of camera brand (Nikon, Fuji, Sony, etc.). Will not work with any Li-ion or Flashpoint Minis afaik. Look for the power connection socket in the front of the speedlight to be sure.

Well made. I have two battery packs and always pack spare cords. Have not needed one and it’s been a couple of years. That said I do recommend spares if you are a serious shooter.

This is the cable that you want to use when connecting the R2 TTL Nikon Zoom flash to the Flashpoint Blast Power Pack BP-960. Connect it to the front of the flash, plug it into the battery and you can shoot all day on a single charge and cut your overhead on having to purchase AA batteries or carrying a ton of recyclable batteries. Don't leave home without one of these in your bag!

I bought this to use with my Canon flash and Flashpoint battery pack (Typically use this flashpack for my Godox AD360 bare bulb flash) I used this cable so that I could use the Flashpoint to power the Canon speedlight and it works great! much faster recycling than from the AA batteries, and I don't get the heat build up that I would get when using the speedlight rapidly. Typically the AA batteries would get VERY hot, causing the speedlight to get hot and go into protection mode when using just the batteries. I am happy with how this cord functions. CON: The only down side is that it would be nice if the cord was a little longer. It pulls slightly on the camera/flash when holding it up for shooting, as the Flashpoint is clipped to my belt.

This cable fits the 600 ex rt Canon flash which allows you use the battery pack (external).You must have four double A's in the speed light. It is long enough to stretch if you hang the battery pack over your shoulder.
