I actually use this for video with a Canon C70 (super 35 sensor). I've found it to be sharp with responsive AF and provides a great, almost surreal wide view. For a EFs lens it's a great value. My only complaint is that it's very prone to flare - can be a cool effect, but if you don't want it, watch your key light source.

I bought this lens because of the quality photos produced by it. This is one of the least expensive lenses in my collection. This lens produces the best landscape photos, with the sharpest, and best field of view of any lens I own. This is a very light weight, and small lens that I can always depend on for great shots.

I bought this lens about 10 months ago and so far the image and build quality has been excellent, although the lens has noticeable distortion and chromatic aberration towards the edges the images came out great. The lens is not the greatest in low light but that is to be expected from a wide-angle lens in this price range

I purchased the Canon 10-18 specifically for Real Estate photography. Using HDR at f/8 and f/11, my photos are quite sharp and once I set a lens preset in Lightroom, my workflow is very easy and turn around to clients.

I am a professional product photographer but bought this lens for my fun shooting. I don’t shoot at test targets or hyper analyze lenses I judge a lens on it’s real world results. It’s either pleasing or it isn’t. I think the results from this lens are excellent. I can’t imagine that anyone using an APS-C sensor would not be delighted. The only thing I don’t like is the plastic mount but I’m not knocking off a star because it’s so light it probably makes no difference and Canon put the money into the optics. Heck, it even has IS.

I never own a wide angle lens before when I had my 50D but after getting the Canon M50 I needed one badly and this lens is awesome I know that there will be a crop factor but it serves it's purpose. Highly recommend to all photographers and vloggers to get this lens on your Canon DSLR

Fun lens - wide lens - surprised amount of extra coverage - probably better than the 8mm and lots cheaper. Entire family of cameras are the Canon line. Recommend lens for your business or pleasure

This is a great lens when you need to capture more area but not going into an "fish-eye" type lens.The optics are very good and we have been very pleased with the image quality.

All plastic body. So it requires care when mounting. Image quality is better than good regarding sharpness and depth of field on a crop sensor, MO. Not the fastest but with good light very pleasing results. For travel a great lens. Easily replaced, cost factor compared to L glass.

I am impressed with this lens. size is easy to manage. also used it to take some close ups (I do not have a close-up lens yet) and it did an excellent job of the close up ... great detail in the flower and satisfactory background blur.
