Recently bought a pair of BRO8 speakers for our 16' x 30' great room after trying numerous other speakers that didn't seem to "fill the space". The BRO8's are great sounding speakers that I would characterize as having a very balanced sound that sounds just a bit boosted on either end of the spectrum. Bass is deep and full, but you really need to get these away from the front wall a bit to keep the lows tight sounding. Due to our room, I only have them about 8" away from the front wall and the lows are a bit boomy. Moving them out about 18" was a big improvement. Mids are clear and neutral sounding, while the highs are just a tad crisp without sounding even the slightest bit harsh or fatiguing. If I had to point out the negatives, I would say that these speakers aren't the best for lower volume home theatre use. They like a little volume to sound their best, so for lower volume TV watching, the dialogue isn't as present and intelligible as other speakers I've tried.

These speakers are absolutely superb in all the various band of the spectrum: - treble: airy, smooth, articulate and non fatiguing - Mids: Very pure and natural sounding, The paper cone makes wonders here and is a signature advantage of the Triangle speakers. - Lows: Powerful, punchy yet very well defined and controlled. These speakers are one of the few that can satisfy music lovers with very articulate and well rounded presentation, wide sound stage, and yet please rock fans by pushing lots of air and shaking your room when you need. The look is very good too wit their specific driver design and white paper cone that contrast the black drivers. A Steal at this price point, and highly recommended!!!

These speakers have great tone, range and presence. They can play loud and have plenty of bass, so much that I toned them down just a bit with my bass controls. But others may like exactly that much punch. There's more than sufficient detail, too. Based on the reviews, I was prepared to be less than impressed with the finish and overall visual impression, but I was surprised. The speakers look sleek and stylish. Yes, they're wrapped in vinyl, but there's nothing sloppy or cheap. The grill attaches by magnets, the most powerful I've had compared with grills for other speakers. Mine speakers are black. I imagine the other colors look just as good. Finally, these easy-to-drive speakers work with just about all amplifiers and all varieties of music. I suspect they would work for a great many people.

After reading the great reviews on the Triangle Speakers, I can attest they are very high quality speakers. They sound awesome as stand by alones for music, as well as, home theatre!!

these sound fine for my bedroom system which is only driven by a sonos amp, which is the weak link in the room. appearance wise they look like inexpensive speakers with the vinyl veneer. that's ok as I'd rather the company spent the money on the drivers and not on a wood veneer.

Triangle makes really great speakers. I would encourage you to burn them in for a while as the drivers are a little stiff when brand new. But after some time they really open up and you will fall in love with them just as I did. Really nice speakers.

Great pair of speakers. They pair wonderfully with my amplifier and couldn't be happier. Bass is better than expected, though I don't place my speakers super far from the wall. Midrange is sublime (the real star of these guys), and the highs are crisp- not at all fatiguing. Get a sub for the lowest notes if you wish, but other than that, these are really end game speakers. Buy with confidence.

The speakers look great and have a unique sound signature. Highs are a bit bright for my taste by not too bright. Mids are really good and lows are plenty. Perfect for music. For movies I would certainly add a sub and clip the highs a bit. Paired with Denon S960H, SVS PB-3000 and I like them a lot for the price.

These speakers are awesome. They look good, the highs are smooth, vocals extraordinary and the bass is tight and aplenty. I use them in a home theater setup along with the matching center channel and they work GREAT!! Some reviewers have complained that these speakers are finicky about their placement but I have them placed somewhat close to the front wall (about 20") and I don't feel much muddiness in the bass.

Love the string and brass sound these speakers produce, simply amazing. Acoustic guitar never sounded so good. A little lean in the bass, but after a break-in period the bass improved quite a bit. I would still recommend a subwoofer if you like a wall shaking bass. Great price for a high quality speaker!

Solid set of floorstanders, but I don't feel like these can do without a dedicated sub.

I am an pretty big speaker enthusiast. I have built 6 models of speakers this year. I own speakers ranging from B&W DM630 floor standers, to B&W rock solids, Swans DIY 3.1, 2.2, Dayton Da-wave, BR1, and many other custom fully active systems. After doing many hundreds of hours of research this year I knew I needed an end game speaker (for a while anyway) My wife was getting tired of me buying speaker after speaker in search of that perfect sound ! well, I picked these up on black Friday sale for $799 SHIPPED. I am running them off a Marantz receiver with about 75wrms per channel. I disconnected my B&W DM630s (which where bi-wired and getting twice as much power) And I hooked up these Triangles. I am disappointed they do not have provisions for bi-wiring (as its rare to find a receiver powerfull enough to really drive these bad boys) When I turned up Spotify premium and fired up Pentatonics, "Mary did you know?" everyone in the room was instantly quiet. When the first female vocalist began singing I got chills up my back and down my feet. These were them....these were the end game speakers I had been looking for ! These are absolutely the nicest set of speakers I currently own. The depth and clarity of the speakers are simply awe inspiring. I have not heard that much immersion into a sound track since I heard a set of $10,000 B&W nautilus speakers. I will definitely be keeping these speakers for a LONG time. You will NOT find a nicer sounding speaker for under 2 grand Hands down.

I'm a musician and audio enthusiast. I have a discerning ear, humbly. With your permission, here are my thoughts: I love the sound: lively present and enjoyable. Not the most clinical or neutral speakers. But the highs are very present, and the timbre very real. The bass is a bit distant, maybe even relaxed. In a good way - as a whole, they sound excellent, pleasing to my ear and better than anything in the price range (klipsch Im looking at you). This is with 60 quality watts of solid state amplification, and a proper USB DAC (schiit modius). I hooked them up to my tube amp, a 15w 6v6 amp, and they sound unbelievable. Sensitive, transparent, detailed, lively - it's all there. Build quality is great as well. Not real veneers, but from 1ft+ they look great. No corners were cut. I don't think you can get much more for your money.

Replaced JBL Studio S312's. These are tiny in comparison. They sound amazing! Won't fill a room as large obviously but they are very clear. The highs are much better than the JBL's. After breakin, they have pretty amazing bass considering their size!

Smooth high, very clear and rich middle, wide sound stage and nice bass. It brings enough excitements at the same time the sound does not develop any fatigue to my ears, I feel addicted to its unique sound texture and can't stop listening to it whenever time allows.

The floorstander BR08, inspired by the iconic Antal speaker, was the reference model throughout the design of the Borea range. Elegant three-way floorstander with 4 transducers, it is one of the most appreciated high-fidelity models.
It incorporates a new 25mm EFS silk dome tweeter; a new 16cm midrange with a brand-new profile, based on the research on the natural cellulose paper used before in the Esprit Ez; and two new 16cm bass drivers in fiberglass.
Its three-way configuration diffuses all frequencies with no interference between the transducers, producing precise voices and instruments. This floorstander will fit perfectly in rooms ranging from 20 to 40m2.
EFS Tweeter: A Diffusion Throughout The Room
The tweeter of the Borea range is equipped with a next-generation system called EFS (Efficient Flow System).
It is based on the association of a 25mm silk dome, known for its neutrality, with a phase plug developed specifically to homogenize high-frequency diffusion. This system significantly reduces the directivity regardless of your listening location in the room.
The dome is placed inside the partial horn loading, reducing reflections and allowing a clear reproduction of the high frequencies. This transducer is powered by a neodymium motor generating high magnetic power in a compact size. It is coupled to a cooling system, ensuring a better power handling.
Midrange In Natural Cellulose: A Unique Tonality
The Borea range, inheritor of the Esprit Ez technological innovations, also incorporates a midrange driver with a membrane made out of 100% natural cellulose paper, receiving no surface treatment. This paper membrane, unique to TRIANGLE, avoids any coloration of the intermediate frequencies, and transposes the voices with stunning realism and tonality.
In an ongoing pursuit of excellence, the profile of the cone was also redesigned to improve the rigidity and now provides an extended frequency response.
On the three-way floorstander, the midrange driver incorporates a small pleat peripheral short-travel suspension, which Triangle is known for. Very rigid and perfectly adapted to the driver with short travel suspension, it allows a perfect control of the movement of the moving elements, thus ensuring natural-sounding vocals.
Punching, Powerful and Precise Low Frequencies
The mission of TRIANGLE's engineers is to deliver a rich and dynamic sound in the low frequencies, emphasising the pace without ever distorting the music. Controlled low frequencies is an ongoing quest. Living up to its reputation, TRIANGLE focuses on fast and precise drivers, with large engines, all housed in optimized cabinets. The impact disappears as quickly as it has arrived, for a perfectly controlled rhythmic reproduction.
To achieve this, TRIANGLE has opted for membranes in fiberglass with an excellent vibratory behavior. Their rigidity enables to strongly rep roduce each impact while leaving space for the vocal range, thus keeping an airy sound.
