I ahoot full frame or aps but needed a point and shoot and this one seemed to out do the others so after a six month back order wait it finally came (thank you adorama ) handles well and aperture is adjusted via the lens ring which I love! Shoots good in bright to partial sun, doesn't do well in partial shade or back lit shaded areas and the flash isn't strong enough for fill , but I'm asking a lot of a soccer mom camera ,for what it is it's fantastic but if your a mom looking to take better pics than your iPhone let me say this camera unless you know what your doing will equal your iPhone , spend the bread and get a Sony a6400 and a fast lens (35mm 1.4 ) about $250 from Viltrox and never look back it'll destroy any point and shoot and isn't much bigger .

We love the Canon Powershot G7 X Mark III for its perfect balance of portability and performance. The 4k video, flip up touchscreen, and fast autofocus make it a fantastic choice. It's lightweight, easy to use, and packed with features.

I bought this camera a couple months ago and I have loved it so far! This is my first camera I've purchased and it has been very user friendly so far. The photos come out very crisp, and beautiful. Fun for a side hobby without having to spend thousands

I bought this camera for underwater photography. The price point was in the sweet spot I was looking for and it came with a fully manual mode and raw options, so it was perfect (I use a Fantasea housing and Kraken lights).

I bought the G7X Mark III in April 2023. It came with a one year limited warranty--very limited, I should say, as any water damage is specifically excluded. On a vacation this year, a a portion of a latch on a Pelican waterproof box failed {broke off}, and was not noticed by me. I slipped while carrying the camera in this box while walking in water. The box briefly submerged, a leaked a small amount of water--perhaps one-half ounce. This destroyed the camera. Canon gave a repair estimate of $500, which was about $100 less than the original purchase price {this camera now sells for $800}. Be advised, this camera cannot ever get even slightly wet. It should not be used in rain. Canon would not offer any credit, except an offer to sell me a refurfished camaera for $500.

I love this camera so much that I never use my phone for photos anymore! I've been carrying my camera EVERYWHERE! Literally so easy to use ?????? Definitely worth the wait, I ordered it in July & received in September.

DOnt ignore the reviews about the autofocus. Your camera will not be different. Their firmware update took it from unusable to barely tolerable.

I'm a beginner so working a camera is something new to me. I'm getting into vlogging and wanted to make good quality videos cause even tho an iPhone is expensive it doesn't give that crisp quality that's needed. So far so good! I made sure to get a warranty cause this will be with me in the wild and the warranty is really good for accidents.

Ever since I got this camera, I have never touched my iPhone since. This camera takes beautiful, crisp pictures and honestly, it's so easy to use. The autofocus is a bit off but for me, that's very minor issue. I think it's a good camera to have for everyday use.

This camera is amazing for taking photos for IG! The flippable screen makes it so much easier to adjust yourself when shooting alone or even with a friend behind the camera. The camera has a crazy sort of natural filter that makes everyone look good. It is also touch screen which is nice. The video quality is great as well and it makes you feel like youre a youtuber. I highly recommend this camera! Everyone ive take photos with is obsessed with it as well. The only 1 change id make if possible would be to have a double screen one in the back for when flipped up :)

I use my camera for recording Youtube videos. Mostly indoors but some outdoors. I've had this camera for a little over a month. The camera I'm replacing is a Sony Handycam. I guess its my mistake. I should have done better research. The Sony uses mini SD card. The Canon uses a normal SD card. Since I have more mini cards, I use the mini card in the normal card adaptor. I'm running into a lot of unsaved videos using this method. I don't know if there is an advantage to normal size SD card to mini size. I feel the Canon is behind on technology. I made several recordings that did not save properly on the camera after stopping recording. Thankfully I can remake them but now I'm causes to use this camera on videos I can not remake. Hopefully Canon responds to this and I learn something. Will try to update this if I am making an error or there is something I can fix.

This tiny camera packs a punch. It has a ton of features. The photos are crystal clear even when zoomed in and it isn't a battery hog. There are so many features that I'm constantly looking up how to do everything.

I bought this Camera from Best Buy in Apr 2000. I did not use it until this Christmas. It did not work. The camera will not accept SD cards, the SD card slot is broken. It reports the SD card is locked and will not let you use the camera. The SD card is not locked, and I have tried multiple SD cards with the same problem. It is now a paper weight. It is not in Warranty now, and I will have pay to get it fixed. It is new, never used. I googled this Canon SD card slot problem and Found Many people with the same problem! Great Quality Canon!

I bought this camera and three days later a wave at Daytona Beach splashed over it. That instantly killed the camera. If you are going to be near water, make sure you purchase an additional waterproof case. That was an expensive mistake My old cannon was waterproof and it never occurred to me to ask.

Compact, fits in my pocket. Incredibly high image quality. I don't know why all the negative reviews for video? If I wanted a video camera I would have purchased a video camera, and not a point and shoot that also does video. The videos I've taken have come out nicely, but I wouldn't buy a point and shoot for blogging... get a video camera. With a 20 megapixel 3/4 in sensor I've been able to take photos of the northern lights, solar eclipses and more. Often at almost the same quality as a full size SLR, but night and day better than my iPhone. The controls are clunkier since it's all menu based, but as the saying goes... the best camera is the one you have with you and the compact nature means I can actually keep this camera in my pocket. This is amazing for any type of outdoor activity where a full size SLR is cumbersome. If you're looking for a high end point and shoot that will fit in your pocket, then this is an amazing camera. If you're looking for an SLR or a video camera I can't help you as that's a different product. The key is to know what you're looking for.

Replacement upgrade for my G7X I, which has been an excellent companion for the last 6 years. Most of my photography is with EOS R, but I?ve always carried a pocket camera as well ?since the little Olympus Stylus days. Sometimes, I?ll just carry the G7X so that I can relax and enjoy what?s going on, rather then ?being on?. Had a Sony RX100 when they first came out but ultimately switched back to Canon?I just find the Canon colors and familiar UI work better for me. This newer model is extremely well:-made, much faster than my old mkI ?great value for money.

I purchased this camera about 18 months ago and it is by far the best point and shoot camera I have ever used. I have always had a higher end point and shoot as a C camera and have had to use them in some pretty high-profile assignments over the years, because you have to use what you have, but this camera goes beyond that. I'm not a huge Canon fan and this was my first product of theirs that I bought. While this camera isn't perfect, the reason that I bought it had to do with it having an external mic jack and a fast lens. No other cameras fit that bill and it was about half the price of the next closest. The lens is amazing and sharp, the sensor puts some aps-c sensors to shame in terms of dynamic range, and the video features are abundant and it looks really nice without a lot of editing. The autofocus isn't amazing, but a sacrifice when you understand how they got the dynamic range that they did. The live stream feature pretty much doesn't work. I can start to get petty about the ergonomics not being the best as they seem to have opted for symmetry over practicality, or not being water sealed, but that just isn't what this camera is. I also would have loved to have the viewfinder and mic jack in the same camera, but I also appreciate this is a dying camera market and I am more than happy with ND filter and great slow motion. I've even shot professional gigs with this and it performed. Not a first choice but the customer never complained. All the camera you will ever need and most that you would ever want.
