It's a good Camera for now
First camera that's not a cell phone. The zoom is great. Pretty light, although again first camera so not sure how it compares to others. Still learning, some pics do come out soft in tough conditions, but for the price it's what I expected. settings make a huge difference between pics, but accessories are limited. The Panasonic app isn't great, it works when it wants to on iOS or android. (Have both tried both same result). But I find myself not needing the app anyways.

Amazing zoom range for the price
The zoom range is great, even if you limit it to just the optical zoom, but I expected the pictures to be a bit sharper. They aren't horrible, but I expected a bit more.

Very Impressive
Phenomenal little camera,very lightweight and compact,but the features included make it a Remarkable tool for creative photography right on site. Like having photoshop right at your fingertips
It Will take me some time to figure out all the bells and whistles, but it's way more than I anticipated for a point and shoot camera.

Upgraded from DCFZ70, had a lot more features to get use to but takes some great pictures. Has a problem, I found out later that is common, of shutting off when you zoom. Which is annoying.

Ideal budget superzoom point and shoot
This camera is a very good value in the point and shoot superzoom category. Don't see anything this good at the price point. Low light/cloudy days do not yield sharp pictures but in brighter conditions it performs very well. The zoom does the job nicely which is why I purchased this model, mainly for bird photography. For amateur bird/wildlife pics for less than $ 400 the fz80 can't be beat.

Panasonic Lumix DC-FZ80
I purchased this Panasonic Lumix DC-FZ80 because of the optical view of 60X. I've only had it for a short time so I can't comment on it yet. The few pictures I have taken have been very good. The only thing so far that's a drawback is the size. I really wanted a smaller camera but for the price I couldn't pass this one up. Let's just hope it lasts a little longer than my Canon Powershot.

A inexpensive and great camera!
I really like this camera, it takes great pictures and the viewfinder is great too. I like everything about it, and haven't found anything I don't like so far. It is perfect to take pictures of flowers and birds! I would recommend this camera to someone who is looking for a good camera but doesn't want to buy a super expensive one.

Could be better
I was initially impressed by this camera. It is light weight. It starts up quickly. The zoom is incredible. But, as I took it out into the real world, I became unimpressed with the actual results. I realize that this camera has a small sensor size, but I could never get the sharpness I wanted out of my photos. Could be not just finding the right settings, but even on Auto, I expected a less noisy image.

I like this camera.
This is a quality all-in-one camera. The functions are easy to access and to use. There are a lot of camera functions built-in to the camera which may be a little intimidating to start, but the controls are not difficult to navigate and select. Great vacation camera at a great price.

Very pleased with this purchase.
I was replacing my broken camera of the same model. Broken because I dropped it. But, thrilled with the price I paid for this camera and all the goodies that came with it. I have never gotten such a bonus package with any camera I purchased previously from other vendors. Looking forward to playing with the software that came with it.

NICE CAMERA - EXCELLENT PICTURES.
Nice camera for the money. Can't beat the 60x telephoto. Use as a backup for my Sony interchangeable lens camera. Always good to have a good point and shoot with a good telephoto. You will get an excellent shot in tight situations where you may miss the shot while setting up the other camera with a separate telephoto lens that i don't normally walk around with.

Good travelzoom camera
I am upgrading from the DC-FZ70 and am satisfied. The autofocus of this model is better and faster, and there are some ways to manually adjust the area of focus. It is lightweight and easy to carry, so i will likely use it often when hiking and traveling.
