Compact and sturdy enough

Very compact and sturdy enough to hold a flashpoint 300 and large umbrella. Exactly what I was looking for in a travel stand.

They work.

These are heavy stands. The tightening fixtures require a lot torquing to keep the stand from collapsing. I The weight can be a feature, as it may help to keep the stand grounded, but it's a bit to hall around. The plastic tightners: I can't help wondering how long they'll last. All that said, they functioned fine for my recent location shoot. I think I'd spend more to get higher quality next time.

Okay for bounce cards

Really flimsy & unstable so I'm glad I only purchased these for holding bounce/reflector cards. I wouldn't dare put lights on them, and I shoot in the studio. For the cards, they work okay. Be careful to tighten them down when you adjust the height as they tend to slip unless you really crank them. Hopefully the plastic knobs won't break.

Flashpoint knocked it out of the park again

I was looking for a compact travel stand so I bought 7 different stands and compared them all for stability. This won hands down, and on top of everything, it was the best value. It looks like a lot of thought went into this product, as it incorporates the advantages of many other brands. This was the most stable by far, and is an ideal stand for my Godox AD300 with softbox. As a 4-section stand, it is 1.5" longer than the second-best Godox 210F, but more stable at full extension than the 210F at the same height - the damping was much greater, with less vibration as a result (it's stiffer). Also, having a chromed stud makes it less likely to get chewed up. Well done Adorama! Highly recommended!

A Definite Solution

Just what i was looking for a space saving solution to carrying around 2 on compact light Stands. this is definitely the solution for OFC (Off camera Flash, I'm sort of a brand loyalist since i began using Godox/Flashpoint it's what i use everywhere i shoot.

Nice Compact and Sturdy Tripod

I love this stand. It?s compact but sturdy. I like to fold it down and attach it to the side of my book bag. It?s worked so well that I purchased a second one. I use sandbags to anchor it down.

Affordable, Adequate for my purpose

Stand seems to be adequate for what I need. I need it to support a Green Screen for use on Zoom Conference calls. Issue: Mounting Clip on top is difficult to clamp over the green screen. Also, would be nice if a clip of some sort had been provided to stabilize the Green Screen at the bottom of the stand!

Excellent travel stand

I bought this to be a small lightweight stand that I could put in a backpack or in checked luggage. It works for both of those. It's fast and easy to set up and holds my Flashpoint Evolve 200 no problem. It's exactly what I wanted.

Portable and strong.

Portable but strong. Yes I just bought a second one because I have been using the first nano stand over 1 year. Usually I use it outdoors with a 47" or 51" reflective deep umbrella and AD200 or AD360ii. Easy to carry and strong enough.

Wobbly stand

I bought this to put my 86” plm on. It’s very wobbly. I have to sandbag the legs even when I use one of my smaller umbrellas.

Flimsy

I was expecting this to have a bit more strength to it. I would not recommend putting more than a speed light on it. The arrangement of the legs also makes sandbagging fairly difficult. It sways in light wind. The one positive is that it breaks down fairly small.

Great Compact Stand

Just got two of these stands and they compare very well to similar Manfrotto stands, for a cheaper price. It will be a while to see if they last as long ( I just got them ), but seem very sturdy and work great so far.

Not put together well

This nano stand is basically the same as the manfrotos for twice the price. I have one and loved it. But this version from Flashpoint does not look well put together. The legs are loose from the folded position and when extended the legs feel wobbly and not secure. Granted, this is a small thin stand. It's not as stable as a regular stand or as rigid. But aside from shaking in place when you move it. It should feel secure enough to support a speed light. This one didn't. It could be just this one. But I have to be 100% about a stand before I place a expensive flash on it.

Good product for the money.

This is the second Flashpoint stand that I have bought. I use them primarily to hold my Nikon Speedlites for fill in flash when doing macro and backyard bird photography.

Flimsy

I got this as part of a combination with a 5'x7' collapsible backdrop. It is intended to hold the backdrop which I don't find it acquit to do. It's flimsy and not really tall enough. I use a better stand I already had to hold the backdrop and will use this to hold a speedlite to light the background. I really wouldn't recommend this stand.

Suitable

This light stand will do the job but is not the best. The locking mechanisms are not quick or easy and need to be securely tightened or they slide down. For someone who wants a top line stand, I would not recommend this product but considering the cost, it will most likely be sufficient for supporting speedlites which is why I purchased them.

Not really 7'

This lightstand only reaches the specified 7' height if you extend the legs to give you the absolute maximum height therfore having the feet so close together that you have minimal stability. A realistic working height would be about 6'.
