Compact, lightweight and easy to set up
Just picked one of these up. Very compact, relatively lightweight EVF for the feature set. We?re using one on Canon C70 and so far are very happy with the unit. Feature rich (nice to see they added waveform at some point - it appears the original Kameleon only had a histogram). Set up is intuitive and there are plenty of options so you can customize it. Best EVF
IMHO. I've used a lot of EVFs. This one is small, efficient, the fan has never been an issue. I use this FullHD EVF in with my Red Monstro to pull focus and it's assit is really great. I put focus peaking on level 2 on the RED Weapon and low in the EFV. These settings gives me an accurate focus pull. Thanks for this tool.
The Kameleon Pro EVF, 'powered by JTZ', offers all the excellent features of the original PLUS Waveform, Vectorscope, and a new display interface. With this EVF and our trio of powerful Gratical EVFs, we have an EVF for every shooting style. The Kameleon differs over the Graticals by offering 4K HDMI input downscaled to 1080P, and 3D LUTS.
The Kameleon has a 4 pin Lemo power jack and a single SDI and HDMI input. The Kameleon is the perfect EVF for Mirrorless and DSLR cameras and it's SDI input adds versatility so that you can use it on a wide variety of other cameras. Like all Zacuto EVFs, It features a built-in -1 to +4 diopter range and Zacuto's patented essential anti-fog coating formula. It never fogs in humidity or freezing temperatures.
