Flashpoint light gear is the ticket!
I love my Flashpoint XPLOR 600 SE (Special Edition) R2 Manual HSS Battery-Powered All-In-One Outdoor Flash and needed a second battery. All my light gear is Flashpoint and Adorama has Great Customer service! I would recommend Adorama Flashpoint gear to anyone.

Replacement for original
This was a replacement for a battery that was ruined by water spilling on it. It does what it's supposed to do - and does it well; however, this replacement fits tighter and now that it's on the strobe, it won't come off. Therefore 4 stars instead of 5.

Must have for back up battery and extended shoot time!
Battery performs well with long life. Great asset to have on photoshoots for backup battery life and extended time for capturing images.

If you don't have a backup, you're not ready to work.
Great Buy. I have two 600-wattsecond flashes and it just makes sense to keep myself moving and powered up with a third battery.

It works as expected.
I typically get about 600-700 photos out of a charge. My original batteries do not seem to have degraded noticeably in the year I have owned them. However, I plan on doing an extended length shoot in December and decided that the convenience of being battery powered outweighed the cost savings of the AC adapters.
These are exactly identical the the batteries that came with my AD600 lights.
My only complaint is that they do not come with any sort of safety cover for storage.

Fantastic
This battery will last a long time in the Xplor 600. I just bought a spare because it’s always smart to have a back up battery. I do wish it was a bit cheaper. But it could also be a lot worse.

Long lasting
One battery last me almost two days and I am in over shooter. Went on a three-day destination shoot and didn't go through the second one. Does take a while to charge approximately 4 hours.

If you are serious about taking good photos with this off camera flash, then having this as a back up is a no brainer.
This battery comes in very handy when your shooting a wedding without any outlets to plug into. I have only gotten 450 shots out of one per wedding and with a 2-4 hour charge it’s best to have a back up. Makes life easier and takes the worry away.

Great battery
You should always carry spare batteries for EVERYTHING when shooting professionally. I just wish these were a little less pricey - but they offer rock solid performance and hold a charge for a long time.

Back up battery.
I bought it for a back up for a day time shoot with four photographers. We used the main battery at full power and still had plenty of power left over. I did not need a back up battery. It's still nice to have and I hope I do use it on my next outdoor full sun shots.

Flashpoint Xplor 600 Rocks!
Incredible build quality and onboard battery system in this light! So impressed with the accuracy of the ETTL function too. HSS built in will change your photography. No more cables ever again. Their dedicated radio system has been perfect as well. Changing modes and power on any of 3 groups you set up. Love this light. And it's only 749 bucks. Wow!
