If you polar align it well and stay under the weight limit, it tracks well even with 300mm telephoto.

An excellent beginner tracker. Purchased this after seeing video reviews from AstroBackyard and Peter Zelinka. The polar alignment adjustment is a little finicky but the tracker is doing exactly what I'd expect it to do. If you live in an apartment like me this is the perfect size of space is a concern.

I'm sure this is a high quality tracker as evidenced by the numerous reviews. However, when mine arrived I was not expecting it to be so big and heavy! Definitely not suitable for backpacking or hiking so I returned this and got a Move Shoot Move instead.

When it comes to investing, it's important to keep track of your money. That's what [IPP financial advisers] was trying to do with their investment in cryptocurrency, but then one day they realized that all their funds had been stolen by hackers! But then [American forensic firm thehackerspro was hired], and came along. They smart contract experts at thehackerspro. com were able to recover those funds using their smart contract experts, who worked with law enforcement officials in Singapore and the United States to track down where the money had gone. they were eventually able to recover the over $10 million dollars lost to the hackers Now [IPP financial advisers] have recovered their money back from the outsourced wallets, and the firm's ready for another round of investing with globalbitfx24. com

Pretty straightforward to set up, once you get the hang of what all the little bits and bobs are. Polar alignment is pretty easy, and I was able to get 3 minute exposures at 400mm with almost no trailing on my first test.

Others think that investing in Bitcoin is a failing risk, I use to think the same way not until I was well informed of the profitability of investing with Marketplu247. With little cash I decided to give it a try, not minding the outcome and now, I am here to inform you that marketplus247 . Com hasn?t only paid out but has put me on a new financial status. You might have heard lots of stories about being scammed just like I did, but this one is worth giving a try. I assure you just like it paid out for me, you will see resourceful result.

So far so good. I would like to be able to see the numbers while I'm aligning wether the bracket is upside down or not. As it is, the position where the bracket goes has to be in a certain position for the numbers to be lit and visible.

I am new to astrophotography and this was one of the recommendations for equipment to purchase from my instructor. I had done some research prior to taking the class and through reading reviews, thought the iOptron was a very capible unit for my needs. My instructor's recommendtion was I all I needed to purchase it. I am very happy with the results so far. The iOptron SkyGuider Pro kit comes with everything you need to get successfully started in the field. Polar alignmant is straight forward and becomes much easier with practice. The 11 pound payload capacity is great for me while using my Canon 200mm f2.8 and Sigma 50-500mm F4.5 lenses. The unit itself is easy to assemble. When mountes on my Manfrotto tripod, it's rock solid, no shakes or unwanted movement. It's easy to balance. Instructions are good and there are lots of You Tube video's to help if you get stuck. I would highly recommend it to others.

So far, so good. Works just as advertised after the learning curve. YouTube and Google are great sources for free information on the best way to use the SkyGuider Pro. My only gripe so far is the lack of a clear charge status indicator, it is easy to leave it on the charger too often. Still waiting for clear nights, but that isn't Adorama's fault!

Overall, I am pleased with this purchase. My biggest issue is trying to Polar Align, but that is probably hampered by being in a 6-8 Bortle area so seeing Polaris is sometimes difficult. So far the longest exposure I have been able to achieve is 30 seconds, which is better than the 2 seconds I was getting without the tracker. That being said, practice makes perfect!

I upgraded from an old iOptron Skytracker when I decided I wanted to try deep-space astrophotography. The Skyguider Pro is much better suited for heavy equipment such as the D850 with 200-500mm setup I am using now. That said, you will still need either an extra counterweight or a counterweight extension bar to use this product with such a setup. I was able to get some nice shots of the Orion Nebula at 500mm with this setup. Alignment is tricky and I was only able to get streak-free exposures out to about 45s with this setup. Maybe you can do better and get longer exposure lengths. But with enough stacking and total exposure time that's plenty to get some great low-noise images. The one thing I would fault them on is some of the plastic parts. I haven't personally broken them yet, but I have a friend who has broken a few of the adjustment knobs and levers. So be careful when torqueing down things to be secure and tight.

After properly mounting and balancing my camera with 85mm lens with very sturdy tripod, I was able to polar align and track within first 10 minutes of use. Very easy! I highly recommend for beginner imagers and up!

It took me a while to decide which tracking mount to purchase. I was debating between the IOptron Skyguider Pro and the sky-watcher star adventurer. Based on reviews and comparison, I've decided to go with the Skyguider Pro. I'm not regretting anything. This little mount is really nice, easy to use and does what it's suppose to do. It took me a little practice with the different screws for the polar alignment but since it's my first tracking mount I'm guessing it would have been the same with any other. The assembly is very straightforward. I'm using it exclusively with my Nikon DSLR and telephoto lens with the counter weight (as shown in the photo) and it's really good so far.

Very good build quality and intuitive design. I got this to do astrophotography from my backyard in Bortle 5 sky's and it has worked wonders. I have been able to get some good images of several nebula, star clusters, and even galaxies outside of our local group. The polar scope is a bit fiddly at first but you quickly learn how to use it properly. I highly recommend using the bracket whenever possible as you can readjust the alignment without removing your camera/telescope. Perhaps the only real negative I have so far is that this package doesn't come with a ball-joint attachment for the camera/scope. This is pretty much essential if you want to shoot anything away from the poles. However, it's pretty easy to find one within the budget and quality of your choice so this is not a huge deal.

It was unfortunate that it took 2 months to receive due to back orders and the virus, but it was good timing for a trip to Utah. I appreciated Adorama shipping it 2 days for free and not charging me until the product was in. Product is as advertised.

The mount is nice and does its job. I am able to take some great night sky photos with it. The only knock I have, that keeps this at 4 stars is that the counterweight shaft threads came smashed in and I can not screw it into the mounting bracket. I mailed ioptron and they were responsive with a replacement. However, it cost me $23 to ship it for the RMA while a new shaft only costs $25…so I feel that I paid for a broken part anyway. I wish I could get my costs reimbursed since I paid good money for something that should have been working right out of the box. I do not get a new part until they get my old one and that is at least a 2 week turnaround…Not happy with this RMA process as most companies cross ship and will send you a mailing label too.

Still have a lot of practice ahead of me in using this, but so far the results have been great. It's very easy to use - given the complexity of the task at hand. No complaints so far!

The skyguider pro works great and is the best first step for me in getting into deep sky astrophotography. My only issue so far has been that the plastic head on the screw that hold the counter weight bracket onto the mount broke so it is a bit annoying to screw on and off now. I really like the polar scope and have enjoyed learning to do visual polar alignment with it especially since my only other experience was using the stock vixen polarie which did not have a great polar scope on it.

Shipping was on time and top notch . The Skyguider is amazingly simple to use once familiar with the operation . Even a very basic polar alignment allowed for 30 second exposures with pinpoint stars .One thing to keep in mind . If you are using a heavy camera body and big lens you may need an extra counterweight so order two . I use a Nikon D750 and a Tamron 150-600 G2 two weights balance it fine at any angle .

The setup is not the most intuitive process, although there are plenty of online guides and videos that will make it a breeze. Aside from this, the Skyguider Pro instantly made my astrophotography shots better. The difference is truly stunning, especially when using longer lenses.

Purchased a month ago and the first time out, wasn't able to use due to cloud cover, however did get in practice on how to use this. The second time around, was able to find Polaris with the PS Align Pro app (key to know where to point and locate Polaris) and started shooting. Very happy with the results and the iOptron SkyGuider did it's job and tracked correctly. Looking forward to getting out and using again. Initial setup was a bit overwhelming, but went to YouTube to get some help on how it works and how to set it up. One thing I'd recommend when shooting with a long lens is to either switch the end where the counterweight would be when you get out of the box, or buy an extender for the counterweight. You can purchase a second weight to balance correctly, however why carry that extra weight when you can get an extender for the tube the counterweight sits on.

I have only been able to set this up and try it a couple of times due to weather, but it is easy it set up with some reading and understanding of polar alignment. Works as described. Build quality appears to be well constructed. Small size will be nice for portability.

I am able to shoot at 500mm for 90 second exposures with no blur from movement of the earth
By Jon R.
I bought the SkyGuider Pro to allow long exposures of the Milky Way and other deep space objects. I set it up to use with a Nikon D850 with a 200 x 500 f5.6 Nikkor lens. That's quite a bit of weight but getting balance was easy. I am able to shoot at 500mm for 90 second exposures with no blur from movement of the earth. I'm out at night every chance I get when the moon is small and the skies are clear.
Explore the cosmos with the SkyGuider Pro Camera Mount Full Package from iOptron, a leader in the camera tracker market. This advanced, professional-grade device is designed for astrophotography enthusiasts, offering a sturdy and durable all-metal mechanical structure that can handle a payload of up to 11 lbs (5kg), making it suitable for heavy camera/lens systems and even lightweight telescopes.
The SkyGuider Pro Camera Mount is equipped with a detachable alt-azi base with fine latitude and azimuth adjusters, ensuring easy and precise polar alignment. It also includes the iOptron AccuAlign dark-field illuminated polar scope with adjustable illumination, offering different brightness levels for optimal visibility.
This high-quality camera mount offers silent tracking for smooth camera motion, making it perfect for long-term exposures. It features four tracking speeds (1X, 1/2X, solar and lunar), allowing you to capture stunning images of the sky, stars, and landscapes simultaneously. The 1X celestial tracking is ideal for imaging the sky and stars, while the 1/2X tracking speed is perfect for capturing both the starry night and the landscapes at the same time.
Designed for global use, the SkyGuider Pro operates in both the northern and southern hemispheres. It also includes a quick slew (144X) for easy camera framing adjustment. The built-in rechargeable battery ensures up to 20 hours of operation at 20 degrees Celsius, while the built-in ST-4 auto guiding port, HBX port for external hand controller, and a micro USB port for power, charging, and firmware upgrade add to its functionality.
The SkyGuider Pro Camera Mount Full Package also includes a DEC mounting bracket, counterweight and CW shaft, and a Vixen dovetail saddle for scope mounting. The redesigned mount head is compact and precision-engineered for silent tracking and better precision. The built-in shutter triggering port and padded carry bag add to the convenience.
In summary, the SkyGuider Pro Camera Mount Full Package from iOptron is a versatile, reliable, and user-friendly tool for any photographer interested in astroscape or wide field astrophotography.
