This user-friendly mini-converter can generate HDR metadata in line with HDMI v2.0 and CTA-861-G standards, enhancing your viewing experience with a wider and richer range of colors, brighter whites, and deeper blacks. The Hi5-12G's support for HDR gives your imagery a dynamic look, conveying natural, true-to-life colors to your audience.
The Hi5-12G is also equipped with a 12G-SDI single link input with a reclocked SDI loop out, simplifying SDI confidence monitoring or pass on for SDI pipelines. It supports Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) HDR displays over HDMI, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of display technologies.
Whether you're working with 4K or UltraHD signals, the Hi5-12G can compensate for resolution differences, allowing seamless integration of UltraHD monitors in 4K productions and vice versa. It also supports high-quality 12G-SDI inputs, critical for large raster and deep color workflows where image quality is paramount.
The Hi5-12G integrates audio seamlessly, supporting up to 16-Channels of embedded SDI audio on input and passing it to 8-Channel of embedded HDMI audio on the output. It also features two channels of analog audio output for direct external monitoring.
For PsF signal compatibility, the Hi5-12G converts incoming 1080PsF signals to 1080p, making it compatible with HDMI monitors. This durable mini-converter comes with a universal power supply, including international plug connections for global use. Its compact design makes it portable enough to fit behind a monitor, in the back of a rack, or directly on a camera rig. The locking power connector ensures a secure connection, and the optional P-TAP power cable allows for battery power in remote locations.
