Fantastic on-location monitor we use for event recording. Love the iso recording features. Colours are pretty accurate. Sharp display. Would recommend buying the Matthew’s vesa mount with it so you can easily put on a cstand.

I think I got a little charmed by Atomos. This sumo 19 is very limited in it's ability to switch and record. The monitor is nice for proofing and monitoring, but it doesn't seem to be very color accurate. It's too bad convergent design is going out of business. Their product is far superior.

The Sumo is a great monitor and recorder which has changed our workflow. We used to send footage wirelessly to a monitor, now we prefer to be wired (with a long pair of SDI cables) to the Sumo. It let’s us review clips easily and record in 12-bit ProRes RAW from the Varicam LT.

The bundle with the i1 profiler is an attractive deal, but it doesn’t include one critical cable required to perform calibration: the Atomos USB to serial LANC cable. You’ll need to purchase this cable separately, and it really should have been included in the package. Otherwise the i1 color checker can’t be used to calibrate the Atomos Sumo. Be sure to factor this into your purchase decision because you’ll need to spend more to buy this cable.

A great monitor for the set and I like it very much, despite the fact that the first one I got was defective and had the UK plug with it. The replacement works very well so far and still came with a UK electric plus not a US one!!
