It works well but, the switches are hard to set and I'm unsure if it stays on the desired setting. I will continue to use it for all my projects, but will rent another microphone when an important project comes along.

The plug will not fit the Fuji X-100T (unless you find an adaptor) but i really don't use that much for video. It's great for a DSLR like the Canon 70D or 7D Mk II. With live music it gives much better sound quality than the built-in mice, particularly in reproducing bass without clipping a thud or mud sound. You should go into the menus and set the recording level rather than expect the auto level to sort itself out though. I'd also rather rely on the windscreen and the furry sock for wind noise because the auto wind noise reduction in the camera doesn't work and just cuts out all the bass.

If you're shooting with a Canon DSLR, get the RØDE VideoMic Pro for the+20dB boost to compensate for Canon's weak preamps. But if you're shooting with a Sony camera, this mic will be great.
