I wanted to find a boom arm stand that was compatible with the Shure SM7B as I use it for Podcasting. This arm was what I was looking for and more. It's adjustable retracting arm makes it perfect to adjust and hold position on the fly without having to tighten and un-tighten anything. I love the fact you have multiple mounting options to your desk or surface. And to top it off, it looks AMAZING! LOVE IT!

I would give it 5 stars...except I feel that the instructions could have been a whole lot clearer. I engaged in a lot of guesswork and YouTube instruction to get this unit put together. Once I got it together, however, I was/am extremely pleased! I'd definitely recommend it.

Perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. Clean minimalist appearance that just works! Adjustable to hold different weight microphones and you can freely adjust the position of the microphone with out turning knobs.

Seems to work pretty well, but took some time for me to realize the arm flops back unless the microphone is attached (weight of the mic counter-balances the back force, to keep the forces in equilibrium)
