Review Summary

Rated 5 out of 5

It works

Solid construction. Very smooth. A bit heavy, but three big bolts attach it to the tripod, so I move the scope in 3 pieces: OTA, mount, tripod. Pretty easy and fast setup.

Can't find any faults !

I've had this mount for my second year now and I don't have a single complaint. It tracks so well that I don't need auto guiding unless I expose over 3 minutes. The GOTO is usually dead on also. I've used it in very warm weather and very cold weather (23º F) and it still tracks and finds the objects very well. I use an Orion 8" astrograph telescope with DSLR and guiding camera and it handles that weight like it's nothing. I definitly would recommend this mount to others.

Will have to let you know once I get some clear skies but I'm convinced it's going to guide very well.

I love this mount, I haven't done any imaging with it as of yet but I've set it up and slewed around and I'm very impressed
