Just received this. Put it together really quick and had to put it away, so I'll update this review with additional info if needed. First, got this on sale at $120. The price makes this a valuable choice. The grip head seems to be the same KCP-200 that is made by Kupo (and at one point was rebadged for the other Store's before getting an update) and the T-handles look identical when I stored this next to my Kupos. (I'll try to upload some pics later) The turtle base is solid and the release ring makes it super simple to open and close. The riser seems fine and at first check I don't anticipate any issues. This C-Stand is not that heavy but has a solid weight. Is this a Matthews; no but for the price tag, I feel this was a great purchase and I will buy again if end up needing more. I have a pretty good feeling this stand will last me a long time.

Solid as a rock. Love the functionality and the equipment included with this C-Stand. I've been on set for years and know what quality is. This one does not disappoint for my smaller studio setup. I likle that the positioning knobs stay tight, the clamps are very secure, no slippage. Heavyweight and well machined, the clamps and arm are top notch. I just purchased another actually, it was that great!

There are times when a shorter C-Stand are handy. This one is a useful size for mounting gear closer to the floor.

Bought one of these after buying some other Flashpoint light stand related products and being happy with those products. Price of it compared to other similar brands was what made me want to give one a try. So far the quality of it is well worth the price. The stand is made very well; the t-handle grips are a good size and make adjustments easy and comfy, grip heads stay locked down once tightened, o-rings between each riser section, and the legs deploy/close easily. I have C-Stands from other brands like Matthews, Avenger, Kupo, and Impact, and this one so far is right up with those. Will definitely be buying more soon.
