It warms as it should. There is one design flaw. Person designing it must have never used one. The cord that goes into the shoe for the flash is on the left and should be on the right. To properly use it you would have to hold the flash upside down or twist the cord half around the shoe, in essence shortening an already limited length cord. If that isn’t an issue, get the cord! Good price and it works!

works as expected, fits well on both ends. I got it to extend a promaster similar product and it works the same.

Maybe it is just me, but these things don't last 6 months for me. So I don't buy the canon version at their price, I go with third party.

Good value for the money. Flash shoe is sometimes a little tight, but it's safer that way!

This cable works fine once attached to my Canon EOS 5D Mark IV connecting the flash but it is a very tight fit in the flash shoe. So tight in fact that the first time I used it I wondered if I would ever be able to remove it. After several minutes of tugging and jiggling it finally came free but I really had to pull on it and made me worried that I was going to damage something on the camera.

It is working fine now, but did not fit my Canon D70. It was too wide on the base and wouldn't slid on. It did slid on my older Canon D50. So we had to hand file it down ever so little on each side and now it slides on good. This shouldn't have been a problem. Other wise it is really good.

After owning it for a year, to use it along with two of my ORLIT RT-600C TTL RT Speedlite For Canon. I have to conclude that the cord is a failure. I tried using my old and long OCF gear from Sly Arena, and that cord gave me all functions that I need like if it was attach to my camera. So umm yeah, I know I should of return it when I notice that it wasn't working properly. But I suck it up and hope it was just a glitch of some sort.

I was shooting a wedding and the Flashpoint TTL-Off camera failed several times to fire the flash. On closer inspection I found that this unit had pulled apart (possibly from the weight of the flash) The screws stripped out of the plastic and I had to just throw it out of my bag as "JUNK".

Needed to move my flash off the camera. This cord works great and the price was great.

I recently bought a Canon 430ex iii rt Speed light however, my camera wouldn't fire the flash wirelessly. I picked up this hot shoe cord and plugged it in and it worked perfectly. Very easy to use and handle. Would recommend to anyone who has a speedlight as working off camera has a more pleasant feel.

This flash cord works just fine, and I very much like the quick tightening mechanism to connect hotshoe to cord.

I need to be able to keep the flash over the camera, even when I shoot in portrait mode. I bought a bracket but I need this cable to actually fire the flash. Works every time...

Great, by getting the flash off the camera you can eliminate shadows.

TTL does not work on 5D Mk IV. Flash fires, but always at 100%. My model git nearly went blind after the 600RX-ET went of at 100% out of short distance for close-up portrait. Took him nearly 1h until he did not se blind spots any more. Tried different configurations, no way to make TTL possible. Will return.

Full TTL
3 feet fully extended / 1 foot coiled
The Flashpoint TTL Off Camera Flash Cord for Canon EOS provides the easiest solution for creative photographers who want to add dimension, drama and modeling to their ordinary flat lighting usually obtained from hotshoe mounted Canon Speedlights. By placing the flash off the camera hot shoe and onto a bracket, cage or stand, a photographer can break free of the static style forcedby the nature of on axis lighting. This cable works as a full-function communication cord, relaying data between the camera and dedicated flash.
The TTL cable flip locks firmly onto the camera hotshoe securely establishing contact to all the data points, which are transmitted via the durable 3 foot coiled cable. The end acts as an extended foot for the speedlight, and attaches to any stand, tripod, umbrella bracket, or other device with a standard 1/4"-20 screw or flash shoe mount. The extra length of the cable gives great flexibility when used on a bracket with a rotating or flip arm.
