Used as monopod for 3 months and it is stripped and now useless. Threads cheap metal.

I really liked this tripod until one leg section CAME OUT COMPLETELY while setting up, now that leg section no longer stops at the end of travel, the tube just SLIDES OUT every time I setup.

The best things in life are free. This is an amazing tripod that I would have totally spent the full price on, but it came in a bundle with a lens I bought, and here we are today. Proper af.

it is a good light weight tripod. the gimbal is good quality, but they should include D-Ring screw to mount a camera instead of a regular screw that requires user to carry a coin to tighten the screw.

For a carbon fiber tripod it is not very light. It is well built and stable but it won't become my travel favorite due to the weight.

A bit heavy and the carry bag isn't very handy since the strap doesn't let it hang from shoulder comfortable. Other than that, its a nice tripod for the money

Very sturdy but folding the legs back up I had to watch a you tube video to figure it out. But now that I know how to do it I love it. I had my d500 and 70-200 and it was very safe.

Very sturdy tripod, well built. Great ball head. A tad on the heavy side but I don?t really mind. Would definitely recommend

I fell in love with this tripod as soon as I received it. It super functional and really well made. Would be using this tripod for years to come and would recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight yet functional tripod.

So far this tripod is great. It is relatively light given its full height extension. I like the Swiss Arc adapter head, the ability to extend the legs outward to get lower angles, its solid feel, and the ease of adjustments.

Great travel tripod- I used it a couple of nights ago and it was easy to set up and take down. A benefit of twist locks is that you can unlock all locks on one leg at the same time for setting up and the reverse, which is a time saver. Light weight as promised by its carbon fiber construction. One issue I had was that unless I really torqued down on the ball head, there was just a little sag when I let go. Just enough to be aggravating. I was using my 18-200 zoom. I was concerned about eventual effects on the ball head from having to tighten the knob so much. I ordered a 200 mm nodal slide rail and mounted it on the tripod. The rail allows me to find the balance point of my camera and any lens I have on it, so I don?t have to deal with lens sag, and makes changing the position of the camera much easier- no more wrestling with a heavy zoom that wants to pull everything down. So I definitely recommend the tripod, but do yourself a favor and get the rail when you order it.

This bundle is everything! It is exactly what I was looking for and to have a gimbel head included is such a plus! I watched many reviews on YouTube about this combo. It has been perfect for my Canon 90D paired with a Sigma 150-600mm lens. Perfect for when I shoot backyard birds. Gimbel head is a Beast, but it handles the Sigma lens so well. I love it!

I purchased this tripod for two reasons: 1. I wanted a better tripod/ballhead to handle my Sigma 150-600 mm lens. 2. The reviews on YouTube were fantastic! I have had this item for about 10 days now and have been using it to shoot backyard birds. It has not disappointed. It's light weight, but the ball head included has handled the big lens really well. No movement or sagging when lens is fully extended. I haven't taken it out while hiking yet, so I don't have an opinion on its weight after a long walk. But, at first glance, I'm really happy with this tripod. Seems very well made as well.

Wanted to try a twist lock tripod since the arthritis in my hand is getting worse. The tripod is pretty sturdy although I have yet to take out in the field and put my 150-600 on it. The ball head is tremendously lacking. Side to side movement is terribly stiff and the ball head is not much better.

Solid tripod for the material & price. Paid $110 shipped. Sturdy legs, solid knows, and great head unit. Minor downside is the size and weight, but I prefer a solid tripod all around build, quality, and performance.

I was amazed at how sturdy this tripod was. I mounted my Sony a7riii with the Sigma 150 to 600 sports telephoto and I was very happy with how good it held all that weight without shaking.

Nice light weight, of course. Leg adjustments are smooth, ball head works well (is being used on another tripod, and a pan-and-tilt is on the FotoPro.

Compared to other tripods that I've owned, this thing is a few ounces heavier but tremendously more stable. I also enjoy the flexibility of the setup. I like the built-in foot spikes, and the ability to deploy the middle section in combination with the detachable leg in order to make a substantially-sized monopod.

No more hand holding. This is a major step up from what I had before so it is a tri-pod I would recommend.

Love: build quality, max height, weight capacity, and light-weight Hate: have to manually pull to extend the legs, it would not ?drop? by itself. Takes so much longer to set up and keep. The hate is somewhat a deal-breaker, which is a shame because everything else is so good. It?s a hassle to set up and put away everytime? I?m still exploring how I can make this process easier, and if it needs some more time to be break it in.

I bought the FotoPro X-Go Max 4-Section Carbon Fiber Tripod with FPH-62Q Ball Head at about 50% of the retail price on an Adorama Deal of the Day specials. At first glance, the quality is quite acceptable at the price. Overall appearance is indistinguishable from the vast array of Chinese branded tripods in this price range which makes me wonder if they all are made at the same factory and branded for different sellers with some customization. Things I like: It It is rated for 26 lbs which...

Was not expecting much (free tripod bundle)--came away highly impressed!!
By Justin G.
I got this free with my d850 and wasn't expecting much from it but figured "eh, at least it'll be a good 2nd tripod to use for my d800 and I'll keep my Manfroto BeFree Carbon for my d850". After my first quick outing with this, I can tell you this will be my primary tripod for use on my good camera! The quarter turn locks are true quarter turn, which my manfroto doesn't have (I can't tell you how much time i've spent fiddling with those on the manfroto). As well (and maybe this is beca...
